Great reaction one of the best I've seen and very accurate observations. I'm a UK 'Dear' this is what Dimash calls his fans. He has I believe fan groups in over 140 countries and is known worldwide. He's due later this year to live in the USA as he's working with composers and producers there to introduce his music to the western world more. Dimash is not only a fantastic singer and multi instrumentalist but he's also a wonderful humble humanitarian and supports many worldwide charities with a particular love of support for children this is cultural Khazhs believe helping children move forward freely in life. There's so much I could say but you'll be inundated with information from all Dears. One tip I would give watch his performances to the end so that you see the wonderful interactions between his audience and how grateful he is to all the Dears for supporting him. Btw he's from a famous musical family his parents are well known artists, Dad is also a producer and Mum an opera singer. His younger sister sings well but is studying to be a Dr and his younger brother is learning many musical instruments. He's the eldest child. He does sing English the show must go on, hello, all by myself, and a queen medley, as well as adagio. Then there are his music videos. He performed on behalf of Sister Cities organisation which he became ambassador for. It is a charitable organisation. In Jan 2021 Dimash held an online concert much awaited by his fans and donated 500k to Sister Cities from the sale of tickets. He promises it will be released Soon. Dimash's SOON is like no one else's lol it is a standing joke among fans but it will happen eventually.

Dimash was 23 here. The whole song is French. You could start by watching all his performances from I Am Singer, (13 I believe). He was 22 and it was in 2017. He only knew a few words in English and didn't speak Mandarin but prepared songs in a week to sing. He was asked to come back as a guest at I Am Singer in 2018 and did a fantastic version of Hello ( the Lionel Ritchie song). His English is much better now and he is learning Mandarin. He is the best singer I have ever heard. He is also a very humble genuine person who loves his country and family. He also raps ( Screaming Idol Hits, Keli Meiken, Be With Me).

Dimash is considered the greatest vocalist in the world. He is fluent in Kazak (his mother tongue) and Russian. Kazakhstan being one of the 16 republics Russia gave their freedom to in 1991. His parents are both vocalists with his mother having been with the Kazakhstan Opera as a soprano and both parents very well known in the country. Dimash is tall at 6'3". He began his classical vocal training at age 5 and continued until age 25 but still has some part time training. He is also trained in pop performance. He has completed his Masters in music composition. He sings opera, pop, he raps in Kazak, has perfected his vocal fry abilities and many other sounds. I suspect the only music genera we will never hear him sing is American country but who knows. Like most Kazaks, he and his family are of the Islamic faith and are very kind, gentle, loving people. They only speak blessings and do not believe in saying anything bad about others. Dimash is the eldest of three children. I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it, to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning and imitating. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living out our day to day life. His hard work for years is indeed bearing good fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) SONG FACTS: The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. The song has sad lyrics: “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute. MY THOUGHTS AND OPINION OF THIS SONG (REF CCC): Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow over time in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. His country was part of the USSR. When it collapsed in Dec 1991 they reverted to a free nation again, and there was a focus on restoring Kazakh culture and language which the USSR had repressed. Dimash was born May 1994 to two musicians who were at the forefront of this, and his love and respect for Kazakhstan is a major part of who he is.
So you asked where to go from here, I recommend listening to his older stuff first do you can see how he has further developed over time. The performances from the Chinese talent show, the singer is a great start, check out Opera2 next and go from there. All of his music is really good, he has a 7 octave vocal range D1-D8 that has been seen, can he do more, who knows outside of him, he focuses on making great music, not range, but nobody can deny how impressive his range is and how he can jump octaves easily and seamlessly like it's nothing, you can't even hear the transitions, you hear exactly what he wants you to hear, even breaths of air, his control is just incredible. And yes this song is a great sampling of his voice. He is from Khazazstan and his native tongue is khazak and Russian, he has learned English and mandarin, and like you said sung in 12 languages. He sang this in French. I am not sure if he is fluent in the other languages he has sung in, I know he has corrected a lot of French in this version, he learned his flaws.

What 90% people dont realise is DIMASH's BREATH control after a very HIGH exclamation note for example the 3level high note! Normally singers would be out of breath, struggling to end the song or voice breaks entirely BUT notice how soft,gentle and control he sings in WHISPER right after a heavy note. THAT is breath control

Great reaction one of the best I've seen and very accurate observations. I'm a UK 'Dear' this is what Dimash calls his fans. He has I believe fan groups in over 140 countries and is known worldwide. He's due later this year to live in the USA as he's working with composers and producers there to introduce his music to the western world more. Dimash is not only a fantastic singer and multi instrumentalist but he's also a wonderful humble humanitarian and supports many worldwide charities with a particular love of support for children this is cultural Khazhs believe helping children move forward freely in life. He performed on behalf of Sister Cities organisation which he became ambassador for. It is a charitable organisation. In Jan 2021 Dimash held an online concert much awaited by his fans and donated 500k to Sister Cities from the sale of tickets. He promises it will be released Soon. Dimash's SOON is like no one else's lol it is a standing joke among fans but it will happen eventually.

Dimash was 23 here. The whole song is French. You could start by watching all his performances from I Am Singer, (13 I believe). He was 22 and it was in 2017. He only knew a few words in English and didn't speak Mandarin but prepared songs in a week to sing. He was asked to come back as a guest at I Am Singer in 2018 and did a fantastic version of Hello ( the Lionel Ritchie song). His English is much better now and he is learning Mandarin. He is the best singer I have ever heard. He is also a very humble genuine person who loves his country and family. He also raps ( Screaming Idol Hits, Keli Meiken, Be With Me).

ARTIST FACTS: DIMASH KUDAIBERGEN is a Kazakh singer, songwriter, & multi-instrumentalist. Born in Aktobe Kazakhstan, Central Asia: May 24, 1994. He was trained in classical & contemporary music, and is well known for his exceptional widest vocal range.
I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it, to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning and imitating. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition.
The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living out our day to day life. His hard work for years is indeed bearing good fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a public listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the good content and message of its music.
The fact that, he is able to sing his music at maximum or more than 6 octaves with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said Ooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..? Etc, I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and be surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation.
I believed that Dimash 21 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proved it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..?
Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it.
With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death)
SONG FACTS: The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23.
Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. The song has sad lyrics: “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute.
MY THOUGHTS AND OPINION OF THIS SONG (REF CCC): Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life:
1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God.
Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow over time in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand.
Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth”.
Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death.
Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives. Death creates in us a feelings of fear, separation, sadness and pain.
Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless.
If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. Death is such a peaceful, joyful event in our life, if we die reconciled with God and at peace with others as well. Death is unknown to all of us, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times.

👉 This is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears. (This is what Dimash calls us fans.) This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight.
In 2017 Dimash received a wild-card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant of all time (22 years) and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part. Nobody knew or hear Dimash before and he also had to start first... and after this song Dimash captured the hearts of millions of viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood at his door.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds, over 4 months. The jury consists of 500 spectators. With up to 1 billion people see this tv-program, that's generated international interest. The performances were uploaded to TH-cam... and so, we became Dimash’s Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned that Dimash would survive two episodes of the competition and go home again. They didn't really believe in him. This song in in Italian, this is a cover, the original singer Gregory LeMarchal, who died at a very young age, of a condition called Cystic Fibrosis. Dimash learned of the song & its originator several years ago has been perfecting it ever since. It gets better as he has gotten better with age & practice. To hear him sing Male & female vocals you must hear Olympico. This song was written specially for himby Russian composer, IGOR Krutoy, next song Sinful Passion. Dimash sings all genres music, Rock Pop Ballads, Opera Rap & he plays several instruments. Dombra(Kazakh instrument), Piano, Drums, Xylophone & Cello. Kazakh is his primary language, but their country speak a lot of Russian since they were a part of the USSR Many many years ago, they fought for their independence & won over 30-40 yrs ago. he also is studying Chinese Mandarin & English. He takes a lot of influence from Pop singer Michael Jackson. His fans are called "Dears" because they are like family to him. they always give him flowers at concerts, at arrivals & departures at airports. His country was part of the USSR. When it collapsed in Dec 1991 they reverted to a free nation again, and there was a focus on restoring Kazakh culture and language which the USSR had repressed. Dimash was born May 1994 to two musicians who were at the forefront of this, and his love and respect for Kazakhstan is a major part of who he is.
I like Gregory Lemarchal but he is not the original singer of SOS . Daniel Balavoine already sang it in 1979

The performances from the Chinese talent show, the singer is a great start, check out Opera2 next and go from there. All of his music is really good, he has a 7 octave vocal range D1-D8 that has been seen, can he do more, who knows outside of him, he focuses on making great music, not range, but nobody can deny how impressive his range is and how he can jump octaves easily and seamlessly like it's nothing, you can't even hear the transitions, you hear exactly what he wants you to hear, even breaths of air, his control is just incredible. And yes this song is a great sampling of his voice. He is from Khazazstan and his native tongue is khazak and Russian, he has learned English and mandarin, and like you said sung in 12 languages. He sang this in French. I am not sure if he is fluent in the other languages he has sung in, I know he has corrected a lot of French in this version, he learned his flaws.

What 90% people dont realise is DIMASH's BREATH control after a very HIGH exclamation note for example the 3level high note! Normally singers would be out of breath, struggling to end the song or voice breaks entirely BUT notice how soft,gentle and control he sings in WHISPER right after a heavy note. THAT is breath control

By the way, Dimash is 6'3" tall. :) Both parents are well-known singers. He was raised by his grandparents as per custom/tradition. When it was discovered that he had perfect pitch, he was enrolled in musical/vocal lessons at age 5.

Dimash is 27 yrs old as of May. Greetings and welcome to the world of Dimash from North Carolina. I think it's always good to start with his 2017 I Am Singer competition in China. He was a wild card performer invited to compete with other professional artist from China. He wasn't known in China and was not expected to last only about 2 weeks. But, he ended up being there the entire time. Came in 2nd only because non Chinese weren't allowed to win. SOS was his 1st song. HELLO, ALL BY MYSELF, SHOW MUST GO ON, Autumn STRONG, DAYBREAK. Start there.
