Andy...thank you for taking us away from all the conflict happening right now. Many are on edge with what's going on and it's good to escape, if only briefly, and go on an adventure with you because, at least in my view, you have a way of making us feel as if we're right there with you. That, dear sir, is a true talent.😉
I think it would be far more beneficial were he to practice, and show what it will be really like when the SHTF. ie forget the steak hope you'll find a rat, no beer, that will be gone. Skinning and processing a rat for example isn't easy, and with it being estimated in less than 6 weeks there will be no forest animals left to hunt, a rat will become a real treat. Its certainly better than sticking your head in the sand and pretending every things just fine.
It really was a beautiful crescent moon!! I watch all of your videos & truly enjoy. I’m 70 yrs old & live alone but went camping by myself a lot. I can just smell that campfire with all that great cooking going on.
I know that potatoes are considered the "original superfood", but I don't care about that. I just know that I like potatoes in just about any form, they are so versatile and delicious. Now I'm hungry for potatoes
It’s so true the simple things in life and getting back to nature leaves us calmer and more in tune with outside..thanks Andy for another outdoor activity .
*Your videos always contains positive vibes in living in camping and bushcrafts adventures remotely from populated communities and it's been so soothing !!!* 💖🔥😌👌
I am addicted to your videos because I love the way you cook, and then when I see you eating the food that you cook you make it look so good just by looking at you eating it 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have to say that I envy when it's real spring in the air in Great Britan. I have three meters of snow on my backyard here in Finland and -25C frost last night And that kicking ass menu as always. That steak caress taste nerves. You british gentlemen know how to enjoy life. Not even a good beer is needed at the moment to bring better well feeling.
Really like how you talk to us during your camp set up and the journey in and out. Other bushcraft shows are almost silent...keep it up enjoy your channel.
Ok so I love the idea of you showing different kinds of tents there are out there that can be used for a hot tent. And for the meals you make up are great I wish at times I could show up for a campsite dinner when you make steak it's a good thing we don't have smell a TH-cam I could only imagine the people just waiting for the smell of your dinners LOL. But thanks for a great video until next time have a good week.
Andy what amazes me is all your videos are better than the one before it just keeps getting better and better you truly are a woodsman !!!All the very best 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏴🏴🏴
Hi Andy, love your videos, you’re always upbeat and a good teacher. I wonder if anyone else has thought about this one annoying thing about a campfire: No matter how good your fire is, only only side of you at a time is warmed. The other side is really cold, and you frequently have to turn around and “toast” the other side. Does anyone think it would be worthwhile to build two fires, a safe distance apart, and sit between them on a chilly evening to really enjoy the ambience before bed?
Hi Andy well at least it didn't matter if the lavvu was inside out it worked. That steak looked absolutely amazing. I love the tree silhouettes on the wood stove it adds some nice ambience to watching the flames. Take care.
Hey Clara, haha, ill know for next time.. unless next time is anouther 3 years and i forget lol. I do like that stove, been a while since i used it, tbh its been a fairly mild winter here :(
Seeing Andy doing potatos with cheese and stuff, for a brief moment I've started thinking: no, he is converting to vege! Then the steak landed on a fire... we are saved 😆
I’ve been an old school viewer and I’ve said this since day one….you are the goat when it comes to cooking in the outdoors. Furthermore you should do a cooking channel.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful experiences with us.. I always wait for your posts with impatience although this time i couldn't watch it right away.. had to be on a nice Saturday evening which turn out to be a treat!
Interesting to see something slightly off the beaten track.🙂 Not seen a hot shelter before 🤨Came right in the end by the looks of things. 🤔Thanks for sharing Andy.😉 Be well.😊
Very impressive bushcraft camping video, very good video presentation and very entertaining. Thank you for sharing your wonderful outdoors adventures my friend 🤝 😍 👍
Hey Love! Your videos are Awesome!👏🏽 I have not eaten ANY Meat in Over 40 Years; but for some reason I LOVE & Enjoy watching You cook! Thanks A Million; And Perpetual Success to You Mate!❤️👑🕊
Thank you for keeping us in good company. Keep up the good work! You have allowed me to teach my kids to love nature but leave it as you found it. You have also reminded me of my time camping in the scouts. Loved every minute. Keep it up!
Andy....not a bad wee set up, it looked very warm and welcoming, and as for the dinner....looked bloody lovely bud. Great video once again brother, thanks.....👍👍👍🏴🏴🏴🍺🍺🍺
Excellent stuff Andy, great bush crafting skills there, iv never seen a long fire before and it looked really good. The food as always looked delicious.
I enjoy your channel a great deal. The sharpness of your axes is satisfying to watch. The thing I liked most about this video is...Cheese, more cheese, and more cheese.
I don't know how your friend could tell the lavvu was inside out. Oh well, as long as you were comfortable and it was only for one night. New subscriber. I enjoy all your videos. You are very pleasant and have a good sense of humor. The dinner looked great! Best Regards
I always imagine of me being with you in your outdoors adventures, couldn’t do the hammock sleeping but the air mattress and a tent would make me feel more comfortable. Of course I would have wine coolers to drink while you have your special brews. And would be nice to eat one of your succulent meals and breakfast. Let’s not forget the hot chocolate before bed. Sounds so nice!
Andy, sorry to see your long log fire did not work out as you planned; I watched the other one a few days ago, it was nicely done. However, you left me with a positive impression of the "tri pi" and your great cooking skills: the steak and potatoes looked great. I wish you would have shared a little about your stove. Great video, thanks for your hard work, it's appreciated. Best regards from South Texas
Excellent video and nice and chilled as always Andy 👍🏻 .. my wife saw the video and says an extra inch would make all the difference, don't know what she means I haven't even got a Lavvu 🤔.
Beautiful cookery there Andy 👌 Great job your doing with your videos, really enjoy watching your channel as do many, very satisfying keep up the good work man 👍
Having looked at a few of your vids I realise you know a thing or two about cooking, but you should always prick potato skins; it lets the steam escape and prevents the skin from going mushy. I always use foil (double layer), myself - 10 mins and quarter turns - 40 mins to perfection! Large fist-sized, Russet potatoes are the baking potatoes of champions! That steak looked lush! I enjoy the fact that you will show your mistakes, too, vis-a-vis the lavvu and disappointment with the long log fire. I trust someone who is confident enough to show how it is - warts and all. Subscribed.
I never know how long to foil bake potatoes in a fire. Last time I gave them an hour and a half and they still weren't cooked through - perhaps it was because it was a birch wood fire, maybe need hotter burning wood? Yours looked great Andy! 😊👍
Yeah, ive always had them come out black but edible in the middle haha, I really payed attention to these ones as i didnt have any back ups and i was hungry lol
Get some metal skewers for your spuds, having the metal skewer through the middle draws heat in and helps cook them from the inside. Just wrap in foil as you normally would and should only take about 1/2 the time 👌
Great vid, love your honesty, you alwayas seem to be natural.and to be honest, the long log fire you prompted with fire lighters, the polish lavu inside out,the fact you couldn't be bothered with the fire in thst style,so many vids have this false showmanship but not yours ive watched almost all of your vids and each time makes me hungry for the outdoors food and fire, thanks
Got a onetigris smokey hut and a winnerwell fastfold since last autum, but been very busy this winter when i had sooo much plans for wintercamping here in Sweden. Man i envy you getting out in a hot-tent while i dont find the time to do it. Cheers and thanks for the video, great as always man.
In the inevitable oncoming zombie apocalypse - I’m on your side mate - magical fire skills although the food might attract an unwelcome horde of visitors 🧟♂️ ! 👏👏👍
Now that is a Jacket potato, Thanks Andy for showing us another way of cooking Jackets, I've been trying to recreate my mum's Jackets we had when we went camping once when I was a kid, but like you I always seem to burn them when wrapped in tin foil on the coals so I gave up. Do you know anyone who has had any success at Jackets cooked on the coals?
"And some more cheese." I love this man. 🤣
Andy...thank you for taking us away from all the conflict happening right now. Many are on edge with what's going on and it's good to escape, if only briefly, and go on an adventure with you because, at least in my view, you have a way of making us feel as if we're right there with you.

Well said 😉
It really was a beautiful crescent moon!! I watch all of your videos & truly enjoy. I’m 70 yrs old & live alone but went camping by myself a lot. I can just smell that campfire with all that great cooking going on.
I like that you do different types of tents, fires, and food. It teaches us more than you know! Thank you
It's actually 1.45am right now at my country and prolly not the best time to watch you cook... mouth-watering food as usual, Andy. 😁👍
damn, too late for a midnight snack ;) haha
I know that potatoes are considered the "original superfood", but I don't care about that. I just know that I like potatoes in just about any form, they are so versatile and delicious. Now I'm hungry for potatoes
There is NOTHING better when camping than bacon. It’s definitely the food of the Gods.
It’s so true the simple things in life and getting back to nature leaves us calmer and more in tune with outside..thanks Andy for another outdoor activity .
🇦🇺🖐Hi Andy, I love your knowledge of camping and cooking, is awesome 👌 👏 👍. Take care and safe camping 🏕 😊.

Thanks Andy for taking us camping with you!
Thanks for joining me :)
I am addicted to your videos because I love the way you cook, and then when I see you eating the food that you cook you make it look so good just by looking at you eating it 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The lavvu is easily my favorite tent, aesthetically.
I have to say that I envy when it's real spring in the air in Great Britan. I have three meters of snow on my backyard here in Finland and -25C frost last night
And that kicking ass menu as always. That steak caress taste nerves.

Never to early for a good, cold beer my man! And what a delicious-looking meal you had....wow.
Fantastic video and camp. The steak looked juicy and tender. And those potatoes look awsome. I have to make me a potato like that 👍🏻⛺⛺
My favourite steak cooked the best way! Great wild camp Andy.

Does say steak in the title but hay ho🤣very pedantic of myself I must admit🤣
Yes, because a meat-free meal destroys the world.
@@AdmiralKnusperbackeexactly!!
the only problem is that i always get hungry watching these videos 😂😇
