I was always terrified someone would hurt my kids or had hurt my kids until one day my oldest at 15yr old sd momma stop youve protected us and we know if anyone eve touched us or hurt us you would hurt them. He then sd no one had ever hurt him and that i needed to realized i did a good job protecting them. He reminded me i didnt raise them like i was and that i had gotten away from my bio family before I had he and his brother. That and finally going to therapy are the only things that woke me up. I was overly protective to the point I could've caused my sons to push me away one day, but after therapy(which i still do) and a lot of work for myself myself, my boys are now grown, healthy, mentally stable, young men and no one ever hurt or touched them. So i see in this father what i saw in myself once, someone that almost lost an amazing husband and 2 really amazing sons. So please Steve reach back out to this man and offer him help, hes screaming out for help....
You sound like me. I have 2 grown sons now. I did like you. Protected them very much because i was raped at 12 by 2 men. Then again by a cop in my 30s. I almost went to jail over my oldest when he was in 1st grade because the school counselor pulled my sons pants clear down to see if i had spanked my son. Oh i went flying across the table at the guy when he said he did that. He did not just look n see if he had marks on his butt. He dropped his pants n underwear to the floor. I ended up getting the guy fired and a cop did come. But i got away with hitting the man

And as for my justice I found out in my 40s my dad got the guys many of times and put them in icu. As for the cop all they did was fire him. And he could never be a cop again. It's not like previous accuser episodes. It's obvious that this guy is having a trauma response from his childhood sexual abuse. She's handling him with that in mind. He's not being malicious and controlling.
Men are less likely to report r*pe or sexual abuse because of stigma, so for Steve to say that it’s not common for it to be woman and more likely a man to be the abuser was disturbing. Women could be disgusting abusers as well…

Mothers do get down to their child’s level to speak to them. I do if my child has done something and we need to talk serious so i can look her in the eye. Just cause she was on her knees talking to her son, that doesn’t imply molestation. He is a sick man w/a sick mind because he was molested. It’s pretty rare that a mother molests her child (I don’t mean women in general I just mean the mother themselves). It’s not as rare that a mother either allows or knows about and does nothing to keep a shitty man which is just as bad in my book, but not molest the child themselves. I can count on 1 hand the cases I’ve seen where the mother is the actual perpetrator. He needs therapy or she needs to get gone cause he is a sick man right now.

He needs help badly. I knew before ever sd anything about being SA'd that hed been hurt. He looked like i used to look. I was always terrified someone would hurt my kids or had hurt my kids until one day my oldest at 15yr old sd momma stop youve protected us and we know if anyone eve touched us or hurt us you would hurt them. He then sd no one had ever hurt him and that i needed to realized i did a good job protecting them. He reminded me i didnt raise them like i was and that i had gotten away from my bio family before I had he and his brother. That and finally going to therapy are the only things that woke me up. I was overly protective to the point I could've caused my sons to push me away one day, but after therapy(which i still do) and a lot of work for myself myself, my boys are now grown, healthy, mentally stable, young men and no one ever hurt or touched them. So i see in this father what i saw in myself once, someone that almost lost an amazing husband and 2 really amazing sons. So please Steve reach back out to this man and offer him help, hes screaming out for help....
You sound like me. I have 2 grown sons now. I did like you. Protected them very much because i was raped at 12 by 2 men. Then again by a cop in my 30s. I almost went to jail over my oldest when he was in 1st grade because the school counselor pulled my sons pants clear down to see if i had spanked my son. Oh i went flying across the table at the guy when he said he did that. He did not just look n see if he had marks on his butt. He dropped his pants n underwear to the floor. I ended up getting the guy fired and a cop did come. But i got away with hitting the man

And as for my justice I found out in my 40s my dad got the guys many of times and put them in icu. As for the cop all they did was fire him. And he could never be a cop again.
