    Aya opened my eyes to the TRUTH of the world: that we are all powerful beings who control the weather, ourselves, and the environmental supply.

    When Neil Brennon talked about the girl who did Ayahuasca and freaked out completely because she had to face the time that she was sexually abused, and then afterwards found complete peace of mind. It completely changed my entire idea of what reality can be in made me so happy I totally cried

      That's an important thing to pick up, glad you noticed that if you have any interest in doing this throughout your life (it's not a rush lol, the drug will be here longer then we will)
      and that's this.
      No matter what, before you take something like this, do lots of research and reading. It's not like a coke high, it's a different kind of "high" completely. If you do end up taking this at some point (DMT, Mushrooms, LSD etc) I would recommend mushrooms first, before something like DMT.
      An experience like this, whether "good" or "bad", is ALWAYS intense. Very intense, beyond words. Intense is probably the better word for it then just "good/bad". It's not something you'll get addicted to, it's self-regulating, meaning it's fucking exhausting (hence "trip")
      And finally (related to what your initial comment was) even an experience that's unpleasant while it's happening could be extremely useful to move past trauma/mental illness etc. But Also, trip sitter and PREFERABLLY medical setting is a must (DMT doesn't have the medical setting option yet but mushrooms is on it's way), doing this unprepared can have negative consequences, if you're safe about it that's alot less likely.
      EDIT :sorry just realized your comment was from a year ago lol, i'm sure you didn't really need this advice at this point. Good luck with everything!

    Recently I put together a plan to go for a weekend Ayahuasca ceremony. Its been so long since I've had something to look forward to, let alone planned a trip out. I've realized how much just having a plan and a date to look forward to has helped.

    I can't find a source anywhere for any good psychedelics in my area, I suffer some pretty bad depression and i got a chance to try K and man it was a miracle substance, I felt free,the only high or euphoria was from the relief of my vices being released, that's exactly what it did

    I hope to do this some day, but for now it's a rich person's treatment and I'm just on a disabled veteran's income. At least I can afford to take psilocybin and dmt once in a great while and that can keep me going for a few weeks if I'm lucky.

      Hey man, I don’t want to over step but there are affordable options when it comes to ayahausca retreats, and good retreats at that. With some research and the strength to commit I’m hopeful you can attend one yourself. I can’t imagine what your struggles must have been like and still are friend; I think you deserve the best treatment out there. But don’t let money stand in the way of you getting the help you need. I wish you the best of luck on your journey sir, keep your head held high! I commend and thank you for your service.

      Thanks, you're right. I just need to commit to saving up for it. It will be somewhat easier now that I won't be able to hike the AT next year as planned. Grandbaby 8 will be making its appearance about the time I planned to start, so that will have to wait.

    I would put it this way Ayahuasca unlocks a part of your mind, perhaps even your brain. I have heard comedians talking about Ayahuasca, I would like to heard musicians relate their experiences, not singers, actual musicians. Do they come away with enlightened abilities?
    Fascinating stuff. I don't know why, gut feeling, but I think I would have a really bad trip.

    • @felipedim5
      @felipedim5 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@L4-295 Never had crack but I'm sure they are completely different experiences. Ayahuasca isn't addictive and you don't use it to escape yourself but rather to confront your own demons. Drugs are all different and if you think otherwise you are immune to nuance. We need to have more complex conversations around psychedelics.

    Due to my lifelong “drug-resistant” Chronic Depression I am having my first TMS session in a couple of weeks. Mr. Brennan, you had previously been a fairly vocal proponent about the superior benefits of TMS, at least in your case.. Do you now feel differently about TMS treatments? Or is it simply that, while they had helped far & away better than anything you had tried up to that point(and let’s face it, from what you’ve shared publicly, you had tried many, many different avenues in search of help in alleviating your depression), you now feel that Ayahuasca is superior still to what the TMS sessions were able to do for you?
    I’m pretty desperate at this point and am willing to try any promising approach! However, I am also lower income & I’m assuming that Premera Blue Cross doesn’t cover Ayahuasca, so perhaps this is all a moot point, for me anyway.😉 I would still love to hear your reply, as I may be able to utilize the knowledge down the road, or even help make someone else aware of what you’ve discovered.
    AsI write this comment I realize that you’ll probably never even see it, lol.. maybe someone else will, and would be willing to share the benefit of their experience in regard to TMS and/or Ayahuasca. Thank you, Mr. Brennan for caring enough to be open & share your experiences with others.😊

    You’ve got to have a truly weak spirit to flip flop either way based on the interaction with various molecules. This just shows what a small person Neal is. Don’t believe what the molecules “show you” remember you interacted with a molecule. That’s it. All the stuff that seems “new” always was and always is. You really didn’t already see it?!?! Yeeesh. Feel sorry that people are so trapped that there is such a lack of clarity.

      Mathematically speaking there is a close to zero percent chance your individual perception of reality is accurate, sober or not.

    • @dracolusus
      @dracolusus ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jbf4184 biology and quantum theory has put forward, that our brains are literally creating "reality" that we see. Photons hitting the back of your eyes, turning into electrical energy and your brain shapes a reality you seem. If you've done LSD, Psilocybin, etc and you do Aya, you'll know it is a real experience, as "real" as anything else in this simulated space/time plain of existence.

    • @dracolusus
      @dracolusus ปีที่แล้ว

      Its not like normal hallucinogenic,; on LSD you know you are tripping, you can see its hallucinations. and your mind is all fucked up and chaotic. With Aya, its different, sure can be pretty chaotic, but its more like an inner visionary experience. Like the veil obstructing your senses and the divider between reality and the other side has been removed and you are "spirit walking". Like Aldous Huxley described in one of his books, that the brain is like a tuning valve, that blocks out 99.9% of reality, so that we can live in gross material space. These chemicals opens that value up wide and the energy of the universe floods in.
