I was Hard Stuck Gold last season, was semi stuck gold this season but managed to get out finally and hit plat, hoping with these tips I can get into Diamond or at least Plat 3 for the most part, learning how to block/manipulate spawns is proving more useful than I had imagined
You got this brother, I was hard stuck diamond 1 and no matter what I did I I’d go up then go right back down. What helps a lot is even if nobody it talking, be the guy to give your teammates comms. Be the IGL or if you aren’t that comfortable with comms you could always just give light comms. It will skyrocket your performance and your teammates. Best of luck to you all and much love for all✊🏼
Best advice I can give is try not to focus on spawn blocking and rotating super early too much, maybe work on aim tracking, movement and playing at your own pace, and calling out even wen ur not doing good, just hit diamond 1 yesterday was in diamond 2 last season and I don’t know how to spawn block, I rotate late sometimes and I solo que, just play your own game and work on stuff on the side like aiming and playing at ur own pace. Another thing try calling stuff out in detail even if you don’t know specifically wat something’s called, call it out anyway even if it sounds stupid I do it all the time. 😁

These tips apply only for those who have close servers. NOTE: if you're like me live in M.E or far from the servers, improving will get you max to Diamond III and if you're lucky to Crimson.
I have 3 iridescent accounts on Ps5, and I’m working on my 4th. Currently playing out of Asia, and the issue is once you hit iridescent, there are almost no more lobbies in rank play. So you have to create new accounts just to be able to play rank play. I play with 50-60 ping, and have been contemplating starting a YT channel to help others get better at the game as well, because I also have tips and tricks for those who have high ping playing against people with 10-20 ping

Probably one of the best videos I’ve ever seen when it comes to rank play. But to me it’s just sad that In order for anyone to get to the higher ranks you have to play like a rat Camp everywhere and basically exploit every little thing That is broken in Call of duty. Just made it to Diamond 1 with 18hrs left season 4. And yea even when I was plat3 I was going against plats/Diamond/crimson players. My only goal is crimson cus I love the red rank skin. But yea the competitive skill range definitely picked up quick. All tho I can keep up well

I feel like having a good team set up also plays a HUGE factor in ranking up in Ranked. I've played with some really bad teams, and hard carrying, and still losing/deranking. It's so frustrating.
I actually started the ranked season pretty early and got by bronze and silver easily, but then gold left me ass because all my teammates were going 20 on maps while I top fragged with 30 and 40. It’s really depressing going solo.
I’ve only been playing ranked for 2 weeks and have made it to gold II, with the season almost over I’m not making platinum but that’s my goal for next season

I am probably the only one here that plays ranked for fun. Idc if i win or lose, it's more fun than 250+ meter maps with over 50% of the weappns being capable of 1 shotting, and the entire lobby camping.

My main problem with ranked is I get bored using the same guns every game, so I try to use something else and have a 50/50 of being able to do anything.
Crimson as a solo player is not the one. 4 stacks crim and iridescent against maybe two crims and two diamonds with you. Then you run into hackers or sometimes frustrating teammates, especially the ones who dont put the sniper away in s and d when theyre going negative.
Great vid! Very informative. Only started ranked a few weeks ago and it wasn't easy moving from rank to rank. At bronze 1 I was constantly lobbied with plats or smurf accounts. Not sure if a high pub k/d affects this. At gold 1 lvl 12, seemed like everyone was diamond lvl 50 lol.
I’ve wondered that too, if my pub KD being high meant they tried to match me with other high KD players even in the early ranks. There’s no “proof” that’s the case but, it seems like it for sure
I got plat 3 this season cause I took a break from social media and COD but this next season I’m aiming for Diamond 3 so I don’t have to deal with the toxicities of crimson and iridescent

Maybe he is solo or having a sr cap like the most players in ranked !! Happened to me 1st season in diamond 2 , and now it’s the same for me but I’m plat 3 , 28 sr points is taking a long time to rank up . I hit 7 win streaks but sr is still not higher than 35

It’s frustrating if your on top of the leaderboard every game but still get the least sr points if you ask me , my teammates do worse then me but get more sr. Just a bad design 10 days before reset you can already calculate the amount of games you have to play and it’s making me stop playing because it’s not worth the time .

Hit crim 1 and think the better advice is just take a break sometimes because a bad streak or it is not just your day, all matches are very very tryhard and don’t get fun sometimes, but it is what it is (i got solo there too)

Iv always played the objective so they can do the spawns & cover but the more you play solo objective it’s difficult with randoms😂
Definitly need a good team with call outs and comms for every rank even know i reached irradeccent on my last acct mainly solo, its just easier and less frustrating with a team

I’m going to try and start playing with my mic on, learn callouts, and use them to help my team win (I usually solo queue with my mic and voice chat off). You have to communicate to win and level up it seems.

I’ve finished at Gold 1 in Seasons 2 3 & 4. I finished Gold 3 for the first time last season and was so close to hitting Plat by 100 SR. Still trying to hit Plat but it hasn’t been easy this season
I always try to be extremely specific instead of saying “P1” or “P2” because I understand that most of the time people might not understand what P1 or P2 is
I’m plat 2 hard stuck only getting 26 to 30 for wins and same for losses. Mics are a must in plat and knowing rotations I always play for spawns as a dominate ar player so I usually don’t have much time on point. Knowing spawns and rotations is also a must to get plat and move to plat 2. I know i am hard stuck due to my aim not at par against diamonds I lose a lot of gun fights against them but win most against gold.
If you’re only getting that small number of points you need to start playing power positions & near the objective. When you play specific areas on the map you’re given more points
Hey, can you give me some advice? I have a PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge Wireless Controller. The problem I'm having is the aiming speed. When aiming at a distance, if I tap lightly, the sight will move more. At short range, it's ok. My settings: 8/8 and 0.55

Gold is so hard to get out of bro. Like it’s such a mix of skill levels. Some games your team might be goated, and other they’re noobs and you get rocked. It’s just back and forth. I was able to hit plat last season but this one is rough with randos
What’s crazy is, that when I play I’m a Gold 11 but I don’t play much at all, I’ll get crimson and iridescent on the other team with only silver and gold players on my team
Underrated tip: get a monitor and better connection. I had no idea how much these things helped. I used to always think some people were just naturally better. NOT THE CASE in most cases!
That's so obvious that dosen't even need to be mentioned,in a game where You die in miliseconds... it's only natural that having Better ping and FPS is a must haha
I’m iridescent and played eu challengers last year, but what u said is true, the ego is insane especially because I played people who are now in the cdl I’m just perma ego challing subs with an ar🤣 and its costing a lot of games
I was able to hit silver 2 last season and am hopeful to hit gold this season just trying to learn how to navigate around all 3 maps and what weapons are best for the map and mode.

Great videos. I’ve managed to hit Diamond 1 both seasons so far, however when I solo Q, the lobbies are mostly Crimson ranks, and there’s a noticeable skill difference so I loose more than I win, that’s match’s and gun fights. Any tips?
It is definitely weird how they treat solo Q, being in Diamond playing against 4-stacks of crimsons is hell. I’d say try to invite people to your party who you see playing well during matches, and try to focus on being unpredictable. Find random corners, headglitches etc. because you know the other team will be calling out your every move, so if you keep switching spots & getting easy kills, the other team will have to focus on finding you, and they’ll get pretty mad if you’re doing a good job!

I’ve finished at Gold 1 in Seasons 2 3 & 4. I finished Gold 3 for the first time last season and was so close to hitting Plat by 100 SR. Still trying to hit Plat but it hasn’t been easy this season
I always try to be extremely specific instead of saying “P1” or “P2” because I understand that most of the time people might not understand what P1 or P2 is
I’m plat 2 hard stuck only getting 26 to 30 for wins and same for losses. Mics are a must in plat and knowing rotations I always play for spawns as a dominate ar player so I usually don’t have much time on point. Knowing spawns and rotations is also a must to get plat and move to plat 2. I know i am hard stuck due to my aim not at par against diamonds I lose a lot of gun fights against them but win most against gold.
If you’re only getting that small number of points you need to start playing power positions & near the objective. When you play specific areas on the map you’re given more points

Hey, can you give me some advice? I have a PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge Wireless Controller. The problem I'm having is the aiming speed. When aiming at a distance, if I tap lightly, the sight will move more. At short range, it's ok. My settings: 8/8 and 0.55
Most pros use either 5 or 6 sensitivity, I personally use 5 and I can beam long range especially with the Tac-56

Gold is so hard to get out of bro. Like it’s such a mix of skill levels. Some games your team might be goated, and other they’re noobs and you get rocked. It’s just back and forth. I was able to hit plat last season but this one is rough with randos

What’s crazy is, that when I play I’m a Gold 11 but I don’t play much at all, I’ll get crimson and iridescent on the other team with only silver and gold players on my team

Underrated tip: get a monitor and better connection. I had no idea how much these things helped. I used to always think some people were just naturally better. NOT THE CASE in most cases!
That's so obvious that dosen't even need to be mentioned,in a game where You die in miliseconds... it's only natural that having Better ping and FPS is a must haha

I’m iridescent and played eu challengers last year, but what u said is true, the ego is insane especially because I played people who are now in the cdl I’m just perma ego challing subs with an ar🤣 and its costing a lot of games

I was able to hit silver 2 last season and am hopeful to hit gold this season just trying to learn how to navigate around all 3 maps and what weapons are best for the map and mode.

even tho I have hundreds of hours on MW2(my first cod) I played only DMZ and only recently came to enjoy ranked so I was stuck in bronze for every season cause I didn't play it. Now I am silver but the I don't know it is it a big problem or if it effect me too much but my main weapon is MCPR and secondary....well anything I find after killing someone else. Is it effective to use sniper as my main?
Great videos. I’ve managed to hit Diamond 1 both seasons so far, however when I solo Q, the lobbies are mostly Crimson ranks, and there’s a noticeable skill difference so I loose more than I win, that’s match’s and gun fights. Any tips?
It is definitely weird how they treat solo Q, being in Diamond playing against 4-stacks of crimsons is hell. I’d say try to invite people to your party who you see playing well during matches, and try to focus on being unpredictable. Find random corners, headglitches etc. because you know the other team will be calling out your every move, so if you keep switching spots & getting easy kills, the other team will have to focus on finding you, and they’ll get pretty mad if you’re doing a good job!
