Loved this. Never even thought etsy had makeup. You should do a makeup brush vs art brush video. I work at michaels and have had a few people come in for paint brushes as cheaper alternatives to makeup brushes and I always wondered if they actually work.
I still use some paint brushes that I've purchased for makeup, would definitely recommend just ponying up and getting makeup brushes. I think makeup brushes sit better in the hand for how you use a makeup brush (than for how I use my actual paint brushes for paint) and are softer on the skin.
I have two paintbrushes I use for eyeliner. I mostly shop for brushes in the drugstore and it's hard to find really precise brushes; art supply stores have a ton of detail brushes for a couple of dollars each.
There are a couple art brush manufacturers who got into make up brushes. I paint and actually compared a few brushes and a few art brushes I had worked better for me (mostly smaller detail brushes). The downside is softness. Art brushes aren't always as soft as make up brushes.

thank you for the review. the lightening and darkening powders are such a great idea for powder foundations! also, i wanted to share a tip i discovered with shimmery eyeshadow. i have long acrylic nails so i can't use my finger very well in my lid. i use those sponge tip applicators everyone hates, haha i just wet them and pat on the shadow and it works great for me. i also tried a clean sample doe foot applicator from Ulta once and it worked pretty well too. just thought it may help with your lash extensions. 💋💋💋
Yeah, I've always liked those little sponge applicators for depositing lots of product right up against my lashline -- I use the more pointed ones a lot for applying shadow as liner because not only is the shadow more likely to be opaque with the sponge [as opposed to a brush], the line is already "smoked out" a tiny bit so I don't have to do anything else once I put it on. 👍

Just a suggestion for those who have acne, I had what they call "Adult acne " and i tried at least over 20 products and NOTHING would work. I almost gave up and my beauty spa hired a new esthetician and she told me about Obagi Clenziderm system. I bought the entire system and WOW, 30 days later my acne was gone and i still use it every day. I now get a pimple every few mths. I can't believe it. Obagi is a little expensive, but WORTH IT!!!. I just wish I knew about your videos when I suffered with acne, you are the ACNE COVER QUEEN!!! Your gorgeous and I'm so happy for all your success❤❤❤❤

Try setting your liquid/creams with a translucent setting powder and then going in with a powder foundation for more coverage. When a colored powder gets wet, it gets darker.
Loved the eye makeup look even though you didn't like the mermaid one as much I LOVE it. Highlight, contour, and lipstick really surprised me and are super cute!
Cheyenne Brown Love Liah Yoo! Just have to be careful about the type of oil. Some oils are more comedogenic than others and skin reacts differently. I stay away from coconut and jojoba oil on my face from personal experience.
Different oils will work differently for different people, oils that are "non-comodogenic" can still cause acne if your skin is sensitive to that particular oil.

Just a suggestion for those who have acne, I had what they call "Adult acne " and i tried at least over 20 products and NOTHING would work. I almost gave up and my beauty spa hired a new esthetician and she told me about Obagi Clenziderm system. I bought the entire system and WOW, 30 days later my acne was gone and i still use it every day. I now get a pimple every few mths. I can't believe it. Obagi is a little expensive, but WORTH IT!!!.

Try setting your liquid/creams with a translucent setting powder and then going in with a powder foundation for more coverage. When a colored powder gets wet, it gets darker.

Oil is great for acne. Watch Liyah Yoo. Drying out your face and stripping sebum makes your skin produce more oil
Cheyenne Brown Love Liah Yoo! Just have to be careful about the type of oil. Some oils are more comedogenic than others and skin reacts differently. I stay away from
coconut and jojoba oil on my face from personal experience.
Different oils will work differently for different people, oils that are "non-comodogenic" can still cause acne if your skin is sensitive to that particular oil.
