I enjoy the onsen hotels, I like that each onsen is different. Also, at the risk of sounding a bit naughty 😅 I enjoy seeing the different types of Love Hotels, the different themed rooms and I like the way the food is delivered too, I hope that's not strange 😅
@@BethDoublekickChick I’m so glad you enjoy onsen hotels☺♨ We also often receive requests for love hotels and we’re planning to visit more in the future, so please stay tuned >_
That was really nice that they let you in to video the Kahala Suite. Very pretty. Expensive, but in this case, it makes sense because of how lovely it is with the view.
The Kahala Mandarin in Honolulu is also a very nice hotel. I am from Hawaii and went to a wedding there and it is one of the most luxurious hotels in the state aside from the Halekulani in Waikiki!
I am always interested in the food you get to try when you travel. Your dinner was intriguing, what with all the different servings, a new taste sensation with every bite. Thanks for sharing the experience.
We stayed at The Kahala on Oahu, Hawaii! We stayed in the Dolphin Suite where your room oversee’s the pool where the dolphins swim. My wife also did the Dolphin Tour and swam with the dolphins! Room was large and very clean. Service is top notch!
saw some emojis being used in the subtitles again this video. 🥰its a super small thing and ofc you can do whatever you want; its your content. but i was thinking after seeing some of the most recent videos that i missed when emojis would be used in the subtitles routinely. just felt more fun and personable. but either way, definitely an incredible experience visiting this hotel and the port city of Yokohama! luxurious for sure! thank you so much for sharing!!
Thank you for noticing the emojis! I’m so happy to know you’ve watched many of our past videos ✨ Actually, we’ve noticed more viewers are watching our TH-cam videos on TV, and sometimes the emojis don’t display correctly in subtitles, so we’ve been using them less often😭 I’m glad you enjoyed our stay in Yokohama, even though it was a bit different from usual🥰🥰🥰
@its_time_to_travel ohhh. i didnt even think about folks watching the videos on tv and the emojis showing up differently there. yeah, makes sense to not worry about them then. though a bummer tv's havent caught up to account for that. 😂😂 maybe one day. anyway, thank you for explaining! looking forward to new content in the future! ☺️
Kahala is a rich neighborhood in Hawaii on the island of Oahu and Hawaii has a ton of Japanese people and Japanese tourists. I can see why they named the hotel as such. My dad was born and raised on Oahu and is half Japanese and grew up in the Kahala neighborhood. Oahu may be overrated as is Waikiki Beach, but driving through Kahala isn’t. I recommend it if you go on an Oahu vacation. Don’t come here to Anaheim and go to Disneyland. Go to Hawaii. Way better 😂
Thank you for commenting about Kahala! Japanese people really do love Hawaii 🌺 Driving through Kahala sounds amazing-I’ll definitely keep it in mind for a future trip to Oahu🥺
We enjoy all the little details you share about every place you visit and all the delicious food and drinks. In this video, you chose a soft drink. Will there be a third bunny in future videos?
I have now enjoyed the whole video, and I wish to thank you for the amazing work you do. I love Japan, and thanks to your channel, I have so many ideas for next trips to Japan (like the mongolian yurt place, or staying in an RV on Okinawa). About this video: - For me, the hotel is beautiful but its not what I like - its too expensive for a place like Yokohama, where I want to discover the city, and not stay in the hotel room. And I dont get it, how you can charge for public bath use in an expensive place like that. Especially not, if when in comparison you can use the public bath for free at a much much much cheaper Dormy Inn for example. - What looks amazing however, is the dinner you had ! I would definitely be willing to pay quite some money for this beautiful seafood and fish dinner. - The visit to the local fish market in the early morning looked great. However: to go into a freezer with -60 degrees temparature, wearing a T-Shirt and shorts, is so amazingly stupid P.S. Are you planning on making new videos from love hotels ? I love those, and I would like to visit some of those love hotels. But as I am visiting Japan from Switzerland, I stay for 2-3 nights in a place (and not only for a few hours), and I dont know how I can do that, if I wanted to spend 2-3 nights in a love hotel, and go out for most of the day to visit and discover
Thank you for your comment and for watching the video! ❤️ In Japan, please note that most love hotels don’t allow advance reservations for stays. I recommend deciding on the love hotel you’d like to visit beforehand and making a reservation if it’s possible. If reservations aren’t available, it’s a good idea to pick out a few alternative hotels just in case your first choice isn’t available. That said, love hotels are usually concentrated in specific areas, so if you’re not particular about a themed room, you’ll likely find an available room quickly! Also, keep in mind that love hotels charge based on time, so you may not be able to leave your luggage there while you go out, or it could end up costing quite a bit if you do. For longer stays, moving to a different type of hotel might be more economical. By the way, we’re planning to upload more videos about love hotels in the future☺️
Train tracks but no train. That other room. I would want the bedroom in front of the bathroom. I would have that Hawaiian set breakfast also. Beautiful hotel. I wish I could stay there.
I notice that beef is served in a lot of these meals. I'd love it if sometimes you'd mention if there are vegetarian, vegan or pescetarian options available for those that don't eat beef or chicken. With ones where you pick and choose it seems easier but that course meal it seemed you didn't get to pick what was in it.
A lot of those course meals change their menus daily, It is also extremely difficult in general to find those kinds of dietary friendly options there. They have mentioned in past videos if where they were staying had other dietary options, though it hasn’t been very many
Unfortunately, vegan and pescetarian options are not very developed in Japan😞 I’ll try to check and share information about vegan and pescetarian options whenever possible moving forward. Thank you for your comment!
I'm afraid the closest I'll get to that dress code is "Hey, at least clean" casual. 😝The hotel seems more like a Russian Art Deco, more than Hawai'ian, but we only see the shirts Stateside, so there's probably stuff we don't know. Thanks for the warning about the filleting bit - I eat fish, I know what happens, but I prefer to live in ignorance. 🐟💖
Thank you for your comment! Luxurious experiences are definitely tempting, but I agree, it's quite pricey 🙄 Yokohama is such a beautiful city and a dream destination for many, so I guess that’s part of why the prices are higher. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I loved your nail's so pretty , I don't eat raw fish but to others the food must look wonderful ,your bedroom was beautiful, I am a vegetation and seeing that monster kill a live fish was very upsetting I don't think I would of showed that as some of us don't eat any form of meat , some of us are great meat eaters free choice and free will to do as you like , but personally for me that was very cruel .but loved your video
I look forward to enjoy your newest video, as your content is really good and interesting. I just find it sad, that you never answer or reply to any comment. Why is that ? That is so unpolite and unrespectful, and Japanese people are usually very polite and respectful. So I really dont get it.
