A Memorable Journey at Teesdale Barnard Castle CAMC

Teesdale Barnard Castle Caravan and Motorhome Club site is situated just a short distance from the historic market town of Barnard Castle County Durham.
The site contains 96 pitches 18 of which are service pitches and the remaining are hardstanding with awning. There is one facilities block containing of ladies/gents toilets & showers, laundry room and washing up area. On the end of the reception building there is a drying room too.
There are various service points around the site for fresh and waste water, refuse and CDP. The motorhome service point is in front of the facilities block, however there is no CDP here.
There is a good road network enabling you to easily explore the area. But right on the doorstep is the medieval 12th Century fortress of Barnard Castle, which is kept by English Heritage. There are also many other castles and abbey's within the area.
Also on the far side of the town is Bowes museum which unfortunately we did not manage to visit.
Barnard Castle Caravan Club site makes for an ideal base to explore this stunning area and all it has to offer

We visited Teesdale Barnard Castle as part of our annual leave from work. It was the first time we have stayed put in one place for quite some time. But since moving back to caravanning and having the car to get about with allowed us to do this. There are so many places to visit in this area and there are many we did not get to as we ran out of time. This site is one that some time in the future we will return to.

Hi Martin it was really love, and we didn't want to come home. Love doing a bit of a cookout too, for some reason food always taste better when cooking outside. Take Care from us lot
