All the wagging dogs’ tails in this video must be contributing to the wind! Thanks for the tour, Brian. Have always come across Barnard Castle on the map, but never got there! Know it from reading medieval history. Nice joyful music too. Weather looks a bit like ours here in cold Canberra. 14Cdeg top, today. I certainly know what fish and chips are, although here they seem to be adulterated these days with various horrible sauces. Lemon for the fish, salt (no vinegar) for the chips. Nice and plain and they should taste great! Wonderful video!

Lovely little town, thanks for the tour. Having a castle next to it is double the attraction. Only downside on this post is the shaky video, but it didn't stop me from enjoying what you had to share.

I spent my 65th birthday camping near Barnard Castle with my family. Although that was six years ago, your photowalk has brought it all back like it was yesterday 🙂 I always enjoy your videos, but, being a Londoner, I don't know many of the beautiful places you visit very well. It's a REAL bonus when you visit somewhere that I HAVE had the good fortune to be able to explore myself! Unfortunately, osteoarthritis prevents me from walking very far these days, so please keep these wonderful 'travelogue style' video documentaries coming 😊📸

Yes, I suffered from osteoarthritis and osteoporosis of my right hip for over 20 years, debilitating it certainly is. I had a hip replacement in 2011 and was a life changer. Unfortunately I now have arthritis in my left hip and neck too. Biggest reason my camera shakes as I walk lol

Very much enjoyed your production sir! I hope next time you'll consider going inside some of the churches and catch the brilliant architecture and stained glass!

Really good choice in music 😊
Fun walk and learned loads. Even though I'm 50% British theres really no chance I'll make it to the UK in my remaing years.

Sometime near the castle gate I was finding the footage a bit shaky (you were walking). But afterwards you said this was shot with the G100. On the contrary, the stability is very good for a non stabilized camera. Thanks to the 12-32 and the operator. btw that little G100 is a sweet looking camera.
I like watching those photo walks. Thank you for showing us Barnard castle.

It gets a lot of hate mail online but honestly I love the little G100 even with its shortfalls.

@@ThatMicro43Guy I have a GX9 and a GM5 so there is no room for a G100 in my camera lineup. But it is the most obvious candidate to replace the GM5.

Very interesting video full of history. Too bad about the camera stabilization

Government never follows the rules they set in place.. Happy to say though Florida didn't have lockdowns so I never experienced one of the dumbest ideas from our fellow humans.
There are always such great places to take photos over there.
