Yes this is Roger singing I always think it’s about a middle aged man reflecting on his youth surprisingly as Roger was in his twenties when he wrote this he sang lead & backing vocals played drums & rhythm guitar xx one of my favourite Roger songs x
I actually like this song. The lyric are very good. Some clarifications: - The down town chewing gum bums: The hookers in the UK were all chewing bubble gum, and visibly so. - The egg poached comment is about doing things differently. - The rest of the lyrics are exactly what the title says. A drowse. Boring. And some childhood memories. Now roast me 🙂
