I've been a Kiss fan since 1976 and imho they were at their musical best when Bruce was in the band. You can't compare Bruce against Ace, they both had their unique, individual style, each was the right player for the songs written during their period in the band.

Gene and Paul walked into the room, started signing autographs and all of the sudden 2 big security guys grab them by the shoulders and said "Lets GO! To the stage, NOW!" Apparently the crowd was breaking through the front barrier and they were trying to get KISS on stage ASAP to calm the crowd down... strange night.. I'll never forget it... Bruce was awesome, but it was sad watching Mark off on the side of the stage all night just watching.
Those Model 2 Charvels are top notch of the import guitars. I've owned a few and they were solid and sounded amazing. I can't stand a thief. Stealing guitars is comparable to stealing a guys girlfriend.

If it was an '84 Charvel, it most likely was from the original San Dimas line made in San Dimas, CA from the late 70's to about 1985. From 1986 onward, Charvel was licensed to a Japanese manufacturer, who in turn started with the Model 1, Model 2, etc. If it had a 4-digit serial number, that's also an indicator it was a San Dimas original. You should post the serial numbers and descriptions of those lost guitars so we can be on the lookout for them.
A lot of people don't know, but the charvels that were made in Japan, were actually made by ESP custom shop. Pshhhh, I'll take one of those over the american made ANYDAY.

The reason I have a 1987 Charvel model 4 was seeing you play Charvel on the Animalize tour.

Yeah, Charvel model 2 guitar. I had one in black with maple fingerboard. This was really awesome guitar! Also i had model 1, 3 and 4.
I love the Model 2. I still have my MIJ white model 1. Sometimes I get tempted to install a Floyd in it.
