This commander clash was a real treat. The punts were hilarious and I love it. And I love just watching this in parts. like some sort of mini series. 😆
I feel like killing Phil has to be the way to go every time. He always seems to have the strongest deck and its normally by quite a bit. Im not knocking it, I just see why Phil has to die first even if its as early as last week. I enjoy Phils joy in playing games though!
I feel so bad for Phil. The Grixis deck really should have been immediately targeted instead - Marchesa with so many counterspells and degenerate cards is just the worst to play against
On this week of "Punt or Bluff?" everyone is going back to Old Capenna to duke it out! Will Tomer use his stinky Yeti to cheap out a win or will Phil just combo everyone? Tune in to find out!
Richard, you say you can't misclick an Ondu Inversion... I have done so. Real bad at the *critical moment* to play a tap land instead of wiping all non-land permenants. Had to concede that game because I was otherwise dead on-board.
Damn, I don't even need to watch this, I can tell what happens by the thumbnail and length. Here's my blind prediction: The only person who would try and play Uril into the boardwipe happy group is tomer. Based on the length, I'm guessing it's either 2 games where Tomer wins the first one fast, or 1 game where board wipes happen one after another. (but at 3 hours, it's probably a 1 hour game and a 2 hour game) Since the board wipes are going to be in full swing game 2, my money's on Sharuum. (probably Phil playing this, since grixis means crim, and Jenara is in bird tribal colors for Richard)
The real victim of this game is Phil’s girlfriend who had to wait like two hours just to have take out pizza with her boyfriend and instead had to go out, do groceries, prepare the pizza and then wait in hunger while Crim and Richard duke it out in the final turns.
Just starting to watch, but super hype, Thraximundar was also my first commander deck, Jenara was my second, Sharuum my third, and my best friend always ran Uril. And hearing Tomer say “trying to prevent a three hour game” right as I look at the episode length 😂

You absolutely can get it but I would agree that it isn't a common thing to put on pancakes here in germany. We usually use some kind of jam or applesauce, sugar, cinammon or some nutella variant instead. Our pancakes are also way thinner than the american version. More like (but not exactly) crêpes.

You really think Crim isn't gonna commit to holding up Mana Drain for the entire game? I would rather play my thing, get it countered, and then watch as Crim draws the aggro because he is now the threat, than skip any amount of turns. Just cast the Uril, if he has it, big whoop. Just cast it again the next turn. You have enough mana and your entire deck is built around him being in play.
