Make sure there is no space between hush and rifle. Should be one word. “HUSHRIFLE” You will get a confirmation text. If that doesn’t work for some reason click on the link in the description box 👍🏼
Look for horizontal lines that doesn't look like the rest of the terrain. Lots of time that doesn't work, because most of the time they blend in very well (depending on species, weather and terrain), so it is best to keep your eyes scanning the hills for movement. Once you see movement, then put glass on em.
Alex, if you have sunshine watch for a glint off the antlers that will look pretty white and almost like a mirror reflecting. Also, a great hunter I know says, if you think you see something, come back to it at least three times, to make sure, because usually it is what you think you saw the first time. Sometimes an animal will step out of the tree line into the open edge, after you glassed that area already the first time. So, we follow the three time rule.
There are a lot of ways to crack this code. Light at your back is beat. Slow and methodical is really effective. When you think you’ve glasses everything, keep doing it more. Stand up and move 30-100 feet in any direction and do it all over again. Sometimes the change in angle does wonders. And, glass with friends who are as committed as you. Teamwork is helpful 👍🏼

@@gethushin Yes 2+3 =5 . I know the high country is difficult. But IMO im not a fan of Hunters having spotters to direct them towards the animal using radios. And in some states i do believe that is illegal. I'm not trying to hate on you guy's. I've been watching you guys for a long time and often with my kids. I don't watch your videos for the kills I watch for the hunt. I was just disappointed in what I saw in the video. Good luck on the rest of your hunting season .

I know this probably won’t get seen but I have always just wanted to ask these guys what’s the best way to spot deer when your just glassing hills.

Yea, it is an interesting balance. We’ve played around with both way of showing or not showing. Still haven’t figured out the best option.
