Hey guys really cool to see it from this perspective, and also glad you guys didn’t get stuck longer at lonesome pine even tho I really enjoyed getting the pleasure of meeting you both! ~Joe
Hey guys this is Outdoor Lews dad ,myself and Lewis’ mom are binge watching all your content the past few days ,awesome stuff and you guys are so funny and natural.Cant wait to see content from your next trip to the island!
So funny y'all bought the helicopter in Tomball! I grew up there and lived like 5 min away from that airport when this video was made haha. Fun to see the Houston/Tomball shots in one of your vids!
This is a new level of vlogging, I think you guys just started a new niche, heli-vlogging. 😮 so awesome. Is this because you guys were sick of losing drones and thought okay we can’t possibly lose this thing! Haha
Wow...this was some outstanding storytelling. If you guys ever want to take your whirlybird to a farm in Vermont, let me know. Would love to host you guys.
I was in Houston a few months ago flying in an R44 that was up for sale. We used it to fly over the landscape for some marketing materials for a local company. Congrats on the purchase. They're absolutely beautiful machines.
When you say you bought a drone, and given what happened to the previous drones.... That's a new definition of road trip ! Congrats on the acquisition !
Chris seems a natural for flying and so relaxed,I like your safety ethics, they call those accidents 'Dieing to get there' where people push themselves regardless of what lies ahead, better to be on the ground talking about it than up there worrying about things. Not sure what your upgrades are on the R-44 perhaps you can elaborate , avionics perhaps ? stay safe.
Mark my words, you guys are going to be huge TH-camrs. Great work on this, love your documentary style. And greetings from a fellow Newfoundland TH-camr!
Just found your channel from a recommendation from Voolenvine, a mostly knitting channel. I live in Tomball! I love eating at the Aviator Grill and watching all the small planes and helicopters land and take off. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
This was so good. I’m happy for you folks, but I’m also super-happy for me that I got to watch this. I love this kind of storytelling. Keep up the good work!
Makes sense why peter recommended you homeslices, you're both informative and humble artists, try to perhaps get more involved in other channels to gain more (well deserved) recognition. Respect from Bahrain
I know I don't comment much but I watch every video and this one was really special. Congratulations on your new purchase! As always the edit was exceptional too.
You bought a helicopter? That's so awesome... Thanks for taking us along on the journey, lovely the 360 shots and how you pulled all of this together. Well done "vlog" I'm with Jesse this was so much more.
Absolutely Awesome Video really enjoyed nice that you take precautions sorry the Weather was not good enough.Again I know this was definitely not easy but catch on the next one Deb😉👊👍✌
Oh my gosh that’s awesome!!! Congrats with amazing “drone” 😁 This is one of my biggest dreams to have a helicopter some time and do a trips with my wife like you do! That’s! That’s inspiring! Amazing content! Perfect quality! 👌🏻😍
I am from the Houston area just came across your channel I know exactly where you bought the helicopter congrats, great to see you did not have to get their ideas as many pilots do, I am the owner of a Mooney and I fly to Georgia once a month, I’ve been stuck many times. Good to see you have a good cross-country experience, most helicopter pilot did not have that, I will continue watching looks like you are a very happy couple made for each other take care
My in-laws sold there R44 to HSI in Tomball Texas and then got an a-star. Transferred it to montana. Long ass transfer. I always loved the R44 for filming. The a-star isn’t as conducive to shooting stills and filming! Congrats on your purchase!!!
OMG! This is at Hooks Airport at HSI. This is where I got my private license and IFR rating. Great video guys. It's a small world. LOL! I hope you guys enjoy your new ship. ✌🏾
Stunning! Wow loving the millennial falcon! What a great film, reminded me of that show departures today! I'd defo watch a whole series of this. Excellent! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😍😎😎😎
I wonder if these are going to become the new Boosted/OneWheels? Vloggers everywhere are going to get licensed and buy helicopters 🚁 Really though, what an outstanding story!
My dream is to be a film maker for everything aviation. My progress.... 30% I'm about to be a commercial pilot which is a plus, but it's hard to film that in an interesting way for people to watch. Great video, we need more aviation videos on this platform that look professional as this.
Cross country in a rotor wing is a little wearing. Good thing you had all that adrenaline pumping through you to keep the adventure juices flowing lol.
This was not a vlog, this was a documentary and I am INTO IT!
JesseDriftwood thanks my man!! As was your trip to Montana!
Agree very cool!
Why did you watch t then ?

These are the kind of channels that genuinely deserve likes and subscriptions and I love how he just subtly reminds at the end instead of begging

Nice! HSI brokered the deal between us and the business selling. Flew it out of their hangar in Tomball!
Which I just realized you probably already know since you’re commenting on this video 😂
Very Very Cool!

What a cool journey!
Always better to be on the ground wishing you were flying rather than to be flying wishing you were on the ground
Very interesting! In the early eighties I worked in Lafayette with flight deck instruments from helicopters. I recognize a number of them.
Masterful edit.
Crazy! You bought your own helicopter. Man, I wish I could do something like that.
Just watching this while waiting for ep2 of the camping series
