There's a massive chip shortage. Every manufacture is dealing with shortages right now. You ordered your vehicle right at the end of the production of 2022 models, but a few months before they started the production of 2023's. Unfortunately you just had bad timing, 🙁

Any update on 2023 kona?
We should be seeing some within the next month or so
Got mail from Hyundai, elantra will be manufactured in November 2022, I placed my order mid of may, what going on, why so much delay, any idea about that?
There's a massive chip shortage. Every manufacture is dealing with shortages right now.
You ordered your vehicle right at the end of the production of 2022 models, but a few months before they started the production of 2023's. Unfortunately you just had bad timing, 🙁
@@edsgarage001 is there any possibility that I can get my car next month? I made order in may
@@sunitsaini7427 not if Hyundai has said it'll be manufactured in November.
Check with your dealer, make sure that wasn't just a guess
@@edsgarage001 I guess everyone who made their order in may and after may got the same mail. Earlier my Eta was in September. And my queue was 270 in july.
@@sunitsaini7427 yeah there's been a few more delays unfortunately
So is this the same as the 2023 hyundai elantra luxury
No. Here's my video on the luxury:
th-cam.com/video/V8-aaom24fA/w-d-xo.html
For one thing, the luxury has leather
What price are people buying this for? I was quoted 26232 CAD. Final coming to 33510 ? Is there margin of bargain in these things?
That seems about right... There's a bit of a mark-up in that price, but not a lot.
If you're trying to get a better price, just check a few dealers and see who's got the best offer.
The last Elantra we had come in was already sold, but we had about 30 people inquire on it in ONE day.
A great car but how is it different from the 2023 Kia Forte
That's an odd question... It's not a Kia forte.
It looks different,
Drives different
Feels different
Has different headlights and taillights
Doesn't share a single body panel
All the colors are different
The entire interior is different
Leg room, head room, cargo volume.... All different
Sure these cars share some things. But every manufacture does that. 🤷
What is the difference between gap insurance and hyundai 5 year warranty and extended warranty?
Gap insurance covers the costs of vehicle replacement due to collision.
Warranty covers the cost of repairs due to mechanical or electrical failure.
Insurance and warranty are two very different things.

So its always better to take gap insurance, my dealership agent was mentioning hyundai already have 5 years warranty so you do not need gap insurance
Can you tell me something about extended warranty? And do we need to take extra vehicle tyre and rim protection if something happened as i am going yo be new driver or it will covered under gap and warranty?
@@amanheer5783 I'm sorry but I'm not in a position to recommend for or against things of this nature.
I suggest you do some research before making any decisions though, there's many many articles online that can help. But that dealership should NEVER have said that, because those are very different things.
Which color is this ?
Fluid 💧 metal metallic
I made sure to mention it in the video, in like the first minute lol 😂😂😂

The luxury also adds adaptive cruise control, 17"alloy wheels, Bose audio etc
@@edsgarage001 I know it's just it didn't know the preferred with tech also came with the digital display dashboard behind the wheels

Just bought one but not in this over used gray/silver color.
Congrats.
I'm not a fan of silver and grey either. But this one, for some reason is just so striking in person, I think it looks amazing.
@@edsgarage001 Thank you. I have the intense blue. The lines of the car are very pleasing to the eye.
Why do people need so many 'assist' features? Just drive properly.
Because despite the best efforts of people in charge, bad driver's still manage to get licenses.
So I'm glad that these assistive technologies are becoming more common. It keeps everyone else safe from the bad drivers
