Like you, I created a comfort pouch several years ago for long haul flights. The pouch that worked best for me is actually a cord pouch made by Hynes Eagle purchased from Amazon. This pouch is 9" x 5" and has many individual mesh pockets along with a long zip pocket on the outside of the pouch. What I keep in the outer pocket is a soft eye glasses draw string pouch which does double duty that I can clean clean my eye glasses with, a thin eye glasses neck cord and my eye mask. In the pockets in the interior I have packets of Tylenol, Tums, etc., Kleenex, a tiny tin of Altoids, ear plugs, comb, nail file, card size lighted make up mirror, a few bandaids and alcohol wipes, eye pad wipes, tube of lip moisturizer, individual antiseptic hand wipes, face wipes, feminine wipes, and a tooth brush. In another very small 3" x 3" clear pouch which I keep in my TSA bag that I take out after going through screening, that pouch contains my lubricant eye drops, toothpaste, a small tube of Neutrogena Hydroboost cream for my hands, Elf eye and face cream from the Elf face hydration travel kit, and a small solid color stick tube to give some color to my checks and lips to apply before off boarding and that pouch fits easily in my Hynes Eagle pouch. I then put my Hynes Eagle pouch in an 11" x 11" zippered mesh pouch that has a handle along with a rectangle shaped water bottle both purchased from Temu, travel slippers, snacks, gum, cell phone and lightweight head phones. After I board I pull my mesh 11" x 11" pouch out of my personal item bag and slip it into the storage pocket and I am good to go. And when I go to the rest room to freshen up I just take the pouch with me as it contains everything I need easily accessible during my flight.
Glad it was helpful! We survived ours first European flight recently and these kits came in very handy. Hope you have an amazing trip!! And remember, no matter how hard, the vacation makes the long flight worth it in the end. 😁✈️
@@MerryVaughn58 It’s sometimes on Amazon. But, I buy mine from them directly. pureandclean.us/hand-cleanser/ I bought a case of the small bottles and now I just buy the refills. 😁
Better yet, I have also bought small spray bottles from Amazon and got the concentrate from there. You just mix it with distilled water to get the concentration you need. Ex: hand sanitizer should be 150 ppm, concentrate is 525 ppm. So, to make 1L of solution I mix 285 mL with 715 mL of distilled water. And, I have the hand sanitizer I want. I do it like this so I can make any of the concentrations from the one bottle. This sanitizer is good for everything from wound care to general surface sanitation. Here’s the Amazon link: a.co/d/2hxqflC Hope that helps!! 😁
Thank you both so much ! Curious my sister and I are wanting to do something similar to this but wasn’t sure if we should start with a blog page or TH-cam videos. Any advice or tips about getting started would be great. We live about 1.5 hours away from each other so videos may be tough but we would still like to try. Again any tips you can offer would be great! If it’s better for me to reach out to you via email, please let me know!! Thank you!
Our advice is to definitely go for it! Not sure which would be easier to start. We’ve put all our free time into this channel sine February 2023 when we returned from our Caribbean cruise for my (Laura’s) birthday. I would be happy to get into more detail in email. 😁😁
Great tips!
Thanks!! They were put to the test recently, and we were so thankful for them!! 😁
Great tips! This is also a great idea for long car rides!
Yes!! Brilliant! These amenity kits would be fantastic for long car rides.😁❤️
