I have always liked Mark Henry, but anyone who has only ever worked for the WWE, doesn't know "the business" they only know the WWE. At least being in AEW it will give him a different perspective and experience in Wrestling.
That's messed up man. Mark has been around for YEARS! He's earned a spot in the business doing what he wants. WWE doesn't use these vets like Mark to further build newer talent. If you want stars let the guys who are already stars show them how, mentor, teach and guide these guys. At least aew realizes those are valuable assets to this business.
There seems to be a theme with Johnny Laryngitis being the hiring and firing boy for Nick Khan. Good move Mark, you knew the corporation wasn't appreciating the twenty plus years you put into the business being one of the most intimidating heels to ever step in a ring.

Mark could guide the talent, agent, help them to traverse the roads especially new ones.I know AJ is counting to be as a talent scout after he retires but I dunno even he might get the shaft.
Given how successful AEW has become and how they've managed to turned former wwe wrestlers into even bigger stars and more successful case and point the late Brodie Lee, Miro, and hell even Jon Moxley that should tell released wrestlers that their are greenier pastures outside and away from the wwe. Wrestlers don't need the wwe for their careers to be successful anymore because AEW is the #1 promotion for wrestlers who want to be the best wrestler they can be.
The problem with wwe is sometimes they treat there legends like garbage. If you ain't a stone cold the rock or hulk Hogan or undertaker or even bret you get diminished and there so many legends that contribute to the business that Vince would not have the money for is it wasn't for them like Chris Jericho was the first ever undisputed championship mark Henry was a world heavyweoght champion as well as big show even dean ambrose cmpunk Jeff Hardy matt Hardy all contributed great towards the business even the Dudley's and other great ones but look how wwe treats them after spending 30+ dedicated years to the business some legends passed away that don't even get a spotlight or a good memorable speech like Eddie gurreros was. Look how they treat Rey Mysterio now in wwe is garbage that gets abused and overlooked but of course is old so wwe can't do anything with him but make him a fluke to ruin the end towards his career wwe does to alot of legends they even did it to mick Foley hardcore Holly JBL they turned there legends into joke and legacy a mockery look how they treated undertaker at the ending of his career straight ruined him even Goldberg. They even did it to bret when Vince actually screwed him in his hometown and then later be responsible for his brother Owen harts death... News fact look how the wwe treats him another hard working dedicated superstar that wwe never fully pushed but had so much to give
I mean i know Mark is a legend and be a great head for anyone to have to ask advice and all from...BUT I cant help but wonder what advice would Darby and Dante Martin be seeking from Mark Henry!? 😅they goin ask How far they should let the bigger guys throw em? Which now thinkin of it Mark has worked with the best small guys and high flyers so he prolly would have good points for those guys but still cant help but think of that and giggle like it dont make sense
When the business start worry about their stock price and caring about their investors instead of worry about the customers and caring about their employees, you know that business will go down hill sooner or later
I see AEW as the company who took everything WWE did wrong and did it right 😂 they created this company by being negligent.. once upon a time it was a dream to go to WWE now that’s far from it .
He had a 2 year plan? What use does WWE have for that? I would be impressed if WWE could keep to a plan for a single episode of Raw at this point. It's crazy when you think about the fact that Mark Henry debuted a few months before Austin 3:16. He really has been in the business for a very long time.
That's damn right, even Steve Austin, said, " it's because it's a white company " after somebody ask him, why black people don't get a push for the big belt 😎
If I were a wrestler, I’d look at WWE and AEW and honestly it would be a no-brainer. I might not agree with a lot of what/how AEW does business but I get the sense that Tony Khan respects all of his talent and treats them fairly. Vince, on the other hand, barely knows who they are and will gladly let Nick Khan and co fire them.
This company didn’t hesitated to push out of the door their most loyal worker & top star way back in 1997 out of company in most humiliating way possible, so I’m not at all shocked by any of this
WWE was always about Vince- not the wrestlers. Very sad but true statement. That's why so many are flocking to AEW for allowing freedom and creativity! WWE better wake up otherwise John Cena and Brock Lesnar will join AEW next! 😎💀

The program that’s been around forever WWE
@@gordleyt after seeing Tony Khan follow the same failed route every other wrestling company used I totally agree
I'm feeling ROMANTICAL!
We are really gaining momentum, on and off screen!
Mark, you busted your ass during some of these matches like I had not seen other do my brother. You, in my eyes, are what a role model in professional wrestling looks like to me.
Mark Henry put over Brock Lesnar. Never forget it folks
That was so disappointing. Because Mark had good momentum when he returned in 2002. Back then we thought "Man, maybe he can beat Brock!". And then he got kinda squashed.
Not just in 2002 but even in 2014.
@@sundarchip Nah, he was not believable anymore in 2014, because he had already been buried too often.
I like Jericho. He's great work in the ring. I love Mark Henry The World's Strongest Man/
"The Silverback" his finisher, everything about HIM is just so bad ass, and it's a fucking shame that The WWE didn't do more with MARK HENRY because I love him as a face, or a heel. Period. His finisher is fucking devestating! Just amazing, is Mark Henry... Like the only mf that could even hurt Mark would have been UNDERTAKER... and yeah... I miss Mark Henry, all day!
It’s sad to see Mark Henry be overlooked when he is a veteran. The man has been in the WWF/E since 1997/98. Creative put him through bad gimmicks and good storylines, but he deserved to be a member of WWE’s backstage crew in one way or another.
The world strongest man
Great podcast guys 💯👌🏾
hes only 50! dude still has so much to time to give, and he wants to!
I personally think mark henry is underrated he's on of my favorite big guys in the business. AEW is going to be a great opportunity for him
Mark Henry is honest man WWE really miss the Gold alongside Jericho who reinvent himself all the time
2 legends.
What I want to see:
Keith Lee Heel Turn (retain personality) but just nice Evil Heel that destroys people
Mark Henry joins him as a Heel Manager
The Cathedral of Pain opens and Lee gets one of the Major belts on him
Wrestlers are getting sick and tired being treated like trash. WWE needs to learn how to appreciate their talent. They are not just money-makers!!!!!!!😡
A very underrated legend. Mark henry did everything they gave him. The hall of pain was great and should have lasted longer.
it was so fun seeing Henry on Sammy Vlog :)
There seems to be a theme with Johnny Laryngitis being the hiring and firing boy for Nick Khan. Good move Mark, you knew the corporation wasn't appreciating the twenty plus years you put into the business being one of the most intimidating heels to ever step in a ring.
Mark Henry is one of the all time greatest with the biggest heart for the business, I'm looking forward to the American Dragon on T.I.J.
Fozzy should do a cover of Europe's Final Countdown for Brian Danielson the song a classic but Fozzy could give it more 🔥
Wow 🥺
He seems to have it easy in AEW whatever he's doing
Mark could guide the talent, agent, help them to traverse the roads especially new ones.I know AJ is counting to be as a talent scout after he retires but I dunno even he might get the shaft.
“If you were a tree what would you be?”
The most random part of this clip!!
Two legends
He was never taken seriously unfortunately, but I was not a huge fan of him. The man though, definitely a fan of his mentality.
If someone had pimped MH's moveset, he could have been a consistent main eventer.
Imagine if he was in WWE under Triple H?
I mean i know Mark is a legend and be a great head for anyone to have to ask advice and all from...BUT I cant help but wonder what advice would Darby and Dante Martin be seeking from Mark Henry!? 😅they goin ask How far they should let the bigger guys throw em? Which now thinkin of it Mark has worked with the best small guys and high flyers so he prolly would have good points for those guys but still cant help but think of that and giggle like it dont make sense
Lots of wwe legends are heading to AEW
It's a shame edge hasn't moved to AEW.
Jericho's pic on the video looks like he just got back from auditioning for steel panther lol
Remember Sexual Chocolate? What a legend.
Not 1 dislike. Let that sink in.
He had a 2 year plan? What use does WWE have for that? I would be impressed if WWE could keep to a plan for a single episode of Raw at this point.
It's crazy when you think about the fact that Mark Henry debuted a few months before Austin 3:16. He really has been in the business for a very long time.
I just want to know when the kid he had with Mae Young will debut in AEW?
I know for a fact that mark his great mind for the business only if WWE wasn't racist he would have been great in the office , booking, etc
That's damn right, even Steve Austin, said, " it's because it's a white company " after somebody ask him, why black people don't get a push for the big belt 😎
@@demonhunter5136 yea its sad how they treat black and brown talent in WWE
@@heartbreakkid2 they are pushing Bobby tho but he's not the right one to push
@@nakul3g they are but out of the talent over the years how many black champions were there that got the big push not just now but the history
@@heartbreakkid2 I think apart from Bobby and Kofi , I can't think of anyone else
If that happens WWE will lose their minds lol 😂
Mark Henry is my idol
Hall of Pain was Brodus Clay's idea for himself originally
This cool as a cucumber Chris Jericho combined with the loud mouth Chris Jericho, is what we the fans want to hear on Rampage commentary.
chris, you need a clips channel, my man.
why are you comment goofballs acting like Mark Henry was a superstar? he wasn't. he was just the biggest (size, not talent) guy during a period when they had no one else.
I just wanna see Henry world strong slam one of them young dudes to the hall of pain one last time
Marco Stunt.
Why does Jericho have only 210k Subscribers?
He sounds so much like Charles Barkley
Mark henry gave so much to wwe and to think they don’t even have a job for him after all these years fr … it’s a trend how wwe treat ppl after years of dedication to the business smhh
Gotta love mark man
I love you Mark 💙🌊
