- In this video, we discuss the future of Muslims in America. Traditionally, the United States has been viewed as a Christian nation, founded upon Christian values and principles. At the same time, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution recognize the value of every human being and the openness of America to accommodate all people of the earth. For this reason, many people from around the world have made the United States their home. At the same time, the predominant Christian public has lost a great amount of its traditional Christian lifestyles and behaviors. As Muslims, we see the current climate of morals, politics, and American culture in general, as needing a new moral and intellectual force to revive the lives of its citizens. We believe that Islam will have a major role in this great change in the future of this country.

Qur'an 14:4 "We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them." This is the language that attracted me to the Deen! I was given the Deen with such clarirty, I had to submit to the truth... I admire and appreciate, how you go back to what Allah says, and not what some scholar say. Alhamdulillah. I've studied Hanafi, Shafi, and Maliki fiqh with teachers, but I don't follow a particular mathhab in the strict sense.

It's hard to believe in religion non the less, but especially Islam which has the best PR all against it! Being a young, POC, middle-eastern etc. is hard enough so if one has the opportunity to ease their lives it's a no brainer to denounce Islam and "try" to fit in and not raise any alarms in society. We need more people like yourself brother, who can decode the language and understanding of this mainly "old world" religion. Also to distinguish religion from culture. There's also the trauma that we carry coming from the Islamic background.
The Qur'an has WEIGHT to it!

If you think Islam is an old world religion and you wish to fit in with the immoral western culture and lifestyle you are clearly misguided brother . Islam is relevant for all times . My advice is read Quran and internalize the ayat . See how all what Quran says pertains to today . There in is a book where within is clear guidance for those who understand .
@@saburrashid5566 No brother, you have misunderstood my point here. It's not the Qur'an that's the "old world" but Islam or rather the ummah. What i meant by this comment is that the reason why many Muslims denounce Islam is because of the lack of elders and scholars who know how to relate to younger people and speak the right language, hence give correct Da'wah to the youth in order for them to understand Islam. I speak of personal experience. The minimal Islam i was taught at home was more cultural and forced on certain fears rather than understanding the mercy of God and the Message 🤌🏼
I, along many other "ex-muslims" have denounced belief and understanding because of Muslims! My advice now to the youth or non-muslims is read the Qur'an rather than listen to Muslims i.e people.
