I'm pretty sure i know why the ZR1 "jumped" was because the dude who was in the passenger seat was counting from 1 to 3 and the ZR1 driver thought he was suppose to go on 1 because you normally countdown from 3 to 1 and not count up from 1 to 3

Pro tip: Airflow over ice actually thaws it quicker. Put a bed cover on if you’re lugging ice.
It’s the same reason we put sealant chilled to -70 in a fan to thaw it when building aircraft components. Turns 20 minutes into 5.

ZR1 sounds gnarly as hell! Yeah he was a little eager to get the hit but when your out there slapping gears and not running 28”+ tall drag radials on 15s, you gotta do what you can to get out and maintain that momentum, especially against a bunch of automatic turbo cars. He wasn’t the fastest car out there but clearly put in work and represented 🇨🇱!
He's flat foot shifting meaning it wasn't falling out of boost. Almost as efficient as some autos if you don't miss a gear.
