With big players like Xiaomi, Samsung, Lenovo, and Realme... a lot of Edtech companies are already using these for their students, having a custom OS built around Android to support everything that Prime OS offers. The concept of Chromebook already existed with ChromeOS which did the same thing for the same price. While on paper, they might be successful, in the future as Online Education in the Post-Lockdown era becomes a norm, they will have big competition from established players which might hurt them in the long run.

Sorry to say but such gadgets are already available in the Chinese market and much much better. For example, I have in front of me a Tablet PC (i.e.a convertible) which runs on Android 13, has 16 GB RAM, 1 TB Storage, 5G Dual SIM Card and 10,000 mAh battery. And all this for around Rs. 10,000. How will they even compete with such products?
