Better Coaching K Thats some of the best damn coaching ive seen coach K do this year, Keep The Damn Ball Out Of Barretts hands and allow your point guard to facilitate the damn ball, get Zion his open looks Get the team envolved, it cant be about Barrett. Wilfredo - OK, so his jumper is awful... are there any 18.5 yr old top tier prospects out there with fewer flaws and more upside? He has one thing to work on--developing a jumper... his post game needs polishing but his footwork is pretty decent for a wing at this point in his career.

Zion and Tre play within themselves. They are poised and confident, play with a high iq. RJ and Cam having mental, confident issues. They just don’t look comfortable out there. If they can get it together and just play a little above average, not necessarily great, but just not continue to be a liability, this team will win it all. But if those two guys can’t get out of their current funk with the unforced turnovers and poor shooting, this team will not go far in March. Right now Virginia and UNC are around Duke’s level because of RJ and Cam’s poor play. Duke was capable of beating Texas Tech by 20 and Clemson by 30. Those two guys have been really frustrating but I’m pulling for them to start playing like they’re capable of. I guess Duke’s #1 ranking is based off potential but right now they are not playing like the #1 team.
Cam's struggles are clearly in his head but I wouldn't be concerned because they call it the "freshman wall" for a reason as it hits nearly all of the. It got Winslow bad too during the ACC play and he bounced back nicely. Cam will be fine. Also keep in mind that both of those guys are still playing very well on defense (Cam leading Duke in steals) and they just came off a 15 day layoff so some rust was expected--Clemson, on the other hand, was still in rhythm playing on the 18th, 22nd and 30th of Dec leading into the game... they were also a very well tested veteran team that Duke separated from easily in the second half.
Durham your right with cam but rj their leading scorer he has no mental problem he looks like every time he’s on the court he believes he’s the best that’s why he takes most of the shots every game and the ball runs through him most game
Sheff M I agree about RJ and don’t have a problem with him taking 19 shots per game. However, I think right now, according to his standard, he is underperforming. He’s shooting 31% from 3, 66% from FT, and 46% FG. I think he can shoot at least 35-36% from 3, 73% FT, and 49-50% FG. I feel like he can take better shots and make better decisions. I’m hoping he can become more comfortable as the season progresses and become more efficient like he’s capable of.

He’s young and has good genes. It’ll be another 6-8 years if not more before he has to worry about joint problems. By then he’ll have made enough money to retire.
