As big of an NC State fan as I've been my entire life, and it's been filled with a lot of grief, I'm just not certain that progress is ever truly being made in respect to advancing the program. IMO... Running a 4 guard system is all well and good against most teams, but when you have to face the REAL teams in the NCAA it becomes a reality check. Big, athletic scorers require a counterbalance. It's entirely possible to outscore most teams by just sprinting past them, but sometimes you have to matchup and bang. This roster can't do that. All the Cinderella mid majors are usually a flash and gone. Solid programs stick around and regroup.
