Omg I can't believe he went straight up!!! Loving the pro tips on instagram! Id love to take the next steps to cliff dive 🤩 10m isn't cutting it for me anymore 🤣
Man TH-cam really has everything. I spend more time than I'd like to admit on TH-cam and glad I stumbled upon your channel. Never really realized how high up these olympic divers and cliff divers are jumping from. I'm afraid of heights but used to love jumping off little cliffs prob 10 ft ~3m high when I used to be at the beach all the time
It would be so cool to be as good at diving as you. I know you have been doing this for years, but your do amazing. I got your video in my recommended a few weeks ago, and I cannot stop watching you!
We got scolded by pool security for trying flips off the edge. They said the risk of head injury is too big. So my only chance will be to nail it the first time from 3m. I also don't have access to a local gym with mats. I tried once so far from the swimming start block and landed flat on my back. It was fire in different ways. Might try the big one tomorrow... Wish me luck (at absorbing this videos great knowledge:)
I was doing parkour in my life but not for long i was just for 1 year but that helped me alot to do a frontflip in my local swiming pool , and for some reason i was doing perfect frontflips from ground to water with the lesson that my parkour teacher lerned me but when i leave parkour i was landing always on my butt not even knee but in water i was always landing perfect on my feet while doing a frontflip
very nice and encouraging. I do head first jumps up to 12 m at a natural place, ...I love this feeling of flying ... only started a few years ago, and do no have lots of practice... did a flip only once, from barely 3m... it\I failed... i did not get enough rotational moment... but you showed how... so I will try this summer :))
I'm 53. Two months ago I did my first backflip from 10 m . I tried a double back flip from 7 m and I landed not good the impact is so tough. Nice tutorials . Thank you. Btw do you recommend us to wear a top when diving ?
THIS IS THE BEST CHANNEL!!! My front flips & gainers need SO much work!!! Back flips are naturally much easier for me, for some reason. Where are you living now? I could fly the family out for a week's vacation and spend 6-8hrs a day practicing!!
At 5:20 Is it possible that someone can make the Olympic Technique without starting diving when he was a child? How long and how much practice to i need to do such a technique, i have 0 experience, can i still manage to learn it at the age 19?
Did a front flip from a 3,5 meter trampoline once and got a belly flop, damn it hurts!:) It was my first time trying to do a front flip from a trampoline (skipped the 1 meter trampoline) Never doing it again for sure! What was I thinking:)
From the 7 meters you can basically just fall forward. Thats what I do for my lazy backflips from 7 and 10. But Ive never done a frontflip because backflips feel more safe and less OUCH sensitive.
Very cool and funy channel ,Jim , keep going! I'm interesting can you face the water in "embryo" position, without open your body, but keep spining from 10m platform. From a physics point, sound possible, because almost everytime you are at angle, and spining can add another force, but you should say, or may be try :))
I'm here cause I have a diving meet tomorrow, my flips and dives are getting better, but today it was like something is throwing me off my game, I need to get this right, seriously there is no other hope for me🤦🏾♂️😑
Hey man, How long would it take you to teach me a double backflip dive? I'm a trampoline trainer so the technical in air part is clear to me but landing on my "head" is kinda scary
I do diving and I've been learning to do a somersault but I can't spin fast enough and keep landing on my lower back. Would be lovely if anyone has any tips to help with it!!
Comment below if you want to see how to do the leap of faith!

Jim, I just want to say that you're an excellent diver!
I am very fond of the sport of water jumping. I found a clip of you teaching various jumping moves. I like it and I'm very impressed.
I do front flips at the beach skim boarding and it is so fun once you learn!
“How to do a front flip from any height”
You gotta get brave enough to try first lol
It’s not hard practice doing front flip ing the water and then do it
I want that guy confidence!
Really enjoyed this training video. I just discovered your chanel yesterday. You're a natural teacher! Big fan from Indiana...USA
It’s almost summer and I started watching every video on this channel! Can’t wait to try this stuff!

F for all people who make they first belly flop :(
I did that 2 years ago when I had diving lessons
@@narakmar6666 I did that 6 years ago, it hurted massively, but now I practiced a lot and I can do it very nicely :D
I have a spine flop
Landed on my back 😬

You can definitely learn that but I have to say it will take a good amount of time😅
19? you have plenty of time.
I am a 14 year old going to the junior Olympics! You inspire me so much !!
Wow!
I want this channel to have million subscribers NOW !!!
I really like that channel
Jim is quite right: I would only ever consider doing a flip once I had had plenty of practice just at 1m board. That’s it.
once i am on a high dive i can’t do normal flips, only leaps of faith. they make it so much easier i would dsy

Never skip lower heights my friend😉
leap of faith tutorial!!
front flip is scarier for me than a backflip from platforms ngl
Yep. From 10m front seems terrifying. I have done it with a 180 though.
The best teacher
0:14 Lmao that happened to me 😂 my face hurted but the girl in the vid is not me and it was from a 3 meter platform
I've been doing frontflips since I was 4!
Im in Grade 7 and I really want to get good at diving! We only have a 1m board right now. Im gonna do this!
I litterally learned how to do a front flip on the pool for one hour cause its easy.
0:53 “i know how to jump in the water”😂😂😂😂😭😂😭
Sounded like a bang after the Cliff dive while flipping
Iam comment from india. Iam a big fan for you sir. I love sir
Thanks for the video!
big fan of your videos. can please you do a tutorial for a triple or double backflip?
Yesssss leap of faith
please make the leap of faith turtorial its much more interesting than normal front flip
From the 7 meters you can basically just fall forward. Thats what I do for my lazy backflips from 7 and 10. But Ive never done a frontflip because backflips feel more safe and less OUCH sensitive.
another thing to know is that at first you want have to the ability to always know where the water/ground is but over time you will gain that ability
Ayyy! You did that commenters video idea! XD
Bruh ur way to underrated
literally the first 15 minutes of me ever stepping foot on a springboard i got a pretty good frontflip
Yes we want a leap of faith tutorial
As a highschool diver myself even his flops look professional
Once, we played follow the leader w our coach and he got us w this dive on the 3M springboard
Hey bro please more videos how to do tricks in the water please
Love this i learn so much
Thanks for the detail on the pool i kniw how to do a front flip but thanks
You got it!!
I did it thanks for the advice
That 103 at 5:20 was beautiful 🤩
Should teach front 180 (barani/Arial) as it's not a blind landing and is safer
I laughed so hard when it said how to do a front flip, and then the disclaimer is like don’t do it
@watermagic please do a reverse flip tutorial!
Leap of faith is the best please make it jim❤❤🤩
Please make a frontflip 180 from any height tutorial next please
Thanks THIS was AWSOME
I ment AWESOME
Leap of faith!!!
can you make a olympique frontflip tutoritual
Wow, that guy got balls!

Can you do the flying somersault tutorial?
What do you exactly mean by flying somersault?
@@watermagic_fun I mean the leap of faith. I saw somewhere that it's called flying somersault.
can you do a tutorial with DOUBLE BACK FLIP?? on every height
I’ll think about it!
Ohhhhhh bro I want do front flip bro like you
You should do the Assassins Creed leap of faith tutorial
Hey man,
How long would it take you to teach me a double backflip dive? I'm a trampoline trainer so the technical in air part is clear to me but landing on my "head" is kinda scary
Switching from tramp to springboard isn’t too hard - and you will be landing onto water, which is quite safe!
@@watermagic_fun can you teach me? I'm Norway 2sept-13sept around Skien
will u do the same for backflip???
Thank you thank you thank you
Bro what is the pool you use bro pls tell me
I do diving and I've been learning to do a somersault but I can't spin fast enough and keep landing on my lower back. Would be lovely if anyone has any tips to help with it!!
Please make a video on how you became a diver tell your story of becoming a diver
The only way i do front flip into water now is with a leap of faith type dive its so much safer and easier to control
I think that if you have experience with flipping, over rotating and under rotating then you would find it a lot easier than some people
True!
Im always frighten that i hit my heat on the board, because i dont jump to far
