- She really wanted to learn how to do a backflip so we went to our good friends gym and had their awesome 12 year old daughter coach her on it.
For being her first time ever trying and with all the amazing distractions an open gym can have, we are very proud of her attempts! Next time we’re sure she will land it.

She is amazing at paying attention, trusting and following instructions. Even when she's so excited and doesn't appear to be paying attention, she's listening intensely. Unstoppable combination, excellent teachers and a perfect student.
She's used to it with all that training from mom and dad from snowboarding!
I was learning this at 5 (private gym class). Whenever possible, my father appeared - he was quiet and didn't intervene /the instructor. It was in Detroit Turners.
I pay attention to my teacher sometimes at gymnastics
Other girl did a great job coaching her!
It was payton
@@adriennechow596 think she means the girl in the black?
It's payton
wow. Peyton is a great little coach. and strong. her spotting skills were excellent.
The next time she's at the beach or a lake (sand and no rocks) have her try in the water and gradually move more shallow until she's finally comfy with no water. I promise it'll build confidence, especially since it doesn't hurt so bad to land in water & sand, even a little water helps. (Knee high for her height)
Great idea!!
being knees deep in the water however, makes it way harder to jump. But if you arent even knees deep, the water wont help you anyways
That’s how I learned my backbend. I tried it with my back handspring but that didn’t work because for that the water made it really hard to jump when I got shallower but great tip!
@@YungIsyan Yep, you need to be in the water in order to use it. It actually forces you to jump harder. So by the time you try it on land It's so much easier. Kinda feels like you're defying gravity:)
Yes this helps a lot
It's amazing how much more she focuses when dad's giving the instruction. She has mad respect for her pop. The other young lady did a magnificent job coaching that is for sure.
She’s so inquisitive and wants to try everything.
Awesome job Mom and Dad.
It’s more so good job to the twelve yr old
It’s more so good job to HER!
@@juliamay2156good job for everyone
Small fry’s water bottle is a Large Fry size. 😂
She really knows how to learn. Such a great life skill.
Lol she super sized on the water bottle 🤣🤣
Very much so!
She has so much support and so much enthusiasm. She is going to be very successful with all the confidence she has in her means. Good for her. And congrats to her parents for nurturing her self-esteem.
Dad can seriously coach anything
Thank you! I try
Mom & Dad, born Coaches, they are sooooo Encouraging, they make You feel You Can Do It before You even try!!!👋🙂
That little girl understood directions really well! Impressive 👏👏
She is the one encouraging me! I’m so afraid to try new things, my anxiety always thinks of the worst possible thing. Right after I saw this video I went to go and try and learn how to do a backflip! She is amazing super brave.
I have anxiety and I'm the total opposite! Gymnastics is my outlet and I often think the worst but I do it anyway and it makes me feel so good about myself! I'm now working on a double twist! So I'm pretty good but not like Olympic level, but either way I love it.
Amazing, she's going to be incredible when she's older. You are incredible parents, you give her so much love, support, guidance and encouragement that she will literally be a star in the future. You are dedicated parents and it's really wonderful to see xxx
I'm honestly super impressed with the 12 yo coach!
Me to
I am so proud of you as parents. The opportunities for adventure you give cashy are great. I was a single dad for my little girl and tried to provide her with as many opportunities and I believe it helped her as a child and now as a young mother. You are a pleasure to watch. Good job to all.
Shez not a pinch nervous. What a cute strong darling she is… full of excitement & thrill… who is this super hero dad… is there anything that the dad can’t do or train… amazing guys!!
The 12 years old is so mature. She did great job. The little one is gorgeous, and you can tell she is going to love doing this.
For Cashy's age, she is not only inquisitive at trying other sports, but she has the confidence to continually try new things. She watches and learns. Even when she is playing around a bit, she is still attentive. Mom and Dad have taught her that extensively while snowboarding. Plus, she has to be attentive given that just the smallest slip could cause her to hurt herself. And no one wants that. We are so blessed to be able to watch Cashy on her journey. And what a journey it is. Great job to the entire Rowley Family. Thanks for letting us follow along.
She can do anything if she just keeps trying!!! She's so talented!!
Agreed 🙌🏻
Next year, she will be doing Back Flip's with the Snowboard.

It's awesome that she has so much support and the resources to help her achieve her goals. I remember when I was a kid and my friend would be outside practicing on a mattress. He was the only boy I knew that could walk all over the place on his hands. This beautiful little girl brought back those memories.❤
What a great effort and hard work👏🥳🤸♀️👏🥳👏🥳👏🤸♀️
Is no one gonna talk about how good of a coach/spotter that young girl Peyton is 😅. Anyways She did great
I stared gymnastics when I was about 4 years old. It is so easy to learn at that age. You're just so fearless! Children really are amazing.
That excitement is so cute ❤
This was terrific. I teach littles how to ride horses and progression is key. I don’t remember much about gymnastics when I was little, but it was fun to see your progression and I was super excited for her when she nailed it!!! Great Job everyone!!! I loved your enthusiastic support.💕
This is a zero progression situation. Doubt this child can do a cartwheel or handstand roll.
@@christinaann7118 it sounds like you understand gymnastics and the basic skill set of a beginner. That’s cool! I understand that she may have skipped the textbook checklist of skills, but she had a goal and she safely reached it; won’t this bring enthusiasm for her sport?
My question is. did she get stronger, or more confident? Maybe she learned how to follow instructions or trust her spotter?
By progression, I meant the process of steps; how they broke it down into achievable steps. Maybe progress of set skills is different, but I bet if she sticks with it, she will learn the skills you mention too. 😊
You guys are probably the internet's best parents
You are such good parents ! Luv watching your videos.
This makes me smile. ❤
She stuck her landing!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 she is def understanding how to do a back flip!!

Great job that was awesome

This was the first video I watched of you guys!
Woah she's good at everything 👏🏻👌🏻
I feel so useless 😭😂
Small fry is a Rockstar!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
this is so cute and good! just make sure she's jumping up as hard as she can first and then tucking
Gymnastics is perfect training for mid air awareness, she’s gonna be a great world n Olympic snowboarding champion.
☺️cuteeee
The first thing you teach them is a STRAIGHT JUMP! 😱😁🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸
She is doing really good 😊
your little girl is just making me cry!! :D I love you all so much!!
I watched her I tried it it actually taught me how to do it 😢😢 I am crying of happiness
Wtg!!!👍👋🙂👏
This is fun to watch. I was always thinking how do you begin with this sport.
She is such a cutie ❤❤❤
I love gymnastics I do gymnastics at the sports and learning complex… it’s fun…
That girl is amazing at teaching and the little girl is a fast learner.
The water bottle is as big as her 😅 she is fearless
She probably is a little scared! But courage doesn’t mean you don’t feel fear, courage means you can get through the fear! She is a beast!
Some of us are more gymnastic than others, like my eldest granddaughter. Good job!
So energetic and following the rules with 'hmmhm'
Great jod Lucy 😀
Good jod Lucy 😀
I love that 12 year old little girl encouraging the 5 year old little girl
it is a so good gymnast ❤❤❤
That girl did a better job teaching than most adults
She's so cute
Essa vai longe, tomara que continue o incentivo!
Well done!
Keep working! The drills weren’t actually applied at the final spotted back tucks. She was just throwing her over. Make sure she jumps up (head in and not back) tucks … like they practiced earlier with her… and then rotates.
Cashy does it all!! Shes awsome!!
I. Know she’s doing great actually I’m a gymnast myself and I can do a back flip I learned it at 6
So cute
She is so good 👍🏼👍🏼
I want to learn. And she is adorable ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
¡Felicidades! pequeña super estrella 😃 snowboard, skate, surf, gimnasia y después? Algún arte marcial con equipo de protección 😇
She's fearless!
OMG what the cutest tiniest peanut 💕
I’m impressed by the girl coaching her!
It was almost finished before I realized that she is the girl shredding down the slopes.
Funny 😄
All in a day ? 😮 .... My daughter would love to get into gymnastics , it would be great for health and fitness .... But it must be very rewarding when they do a backflip and land on their feet without falling over.... Well done 🎉
As a gymnast since i was 2 i i know its really hard and talkes years of patience i got my back tuck when i was 9
I learn backlit when I see you teaching your sister or son thanks I love your video
Wow 🤩 😮
She is so cute and confident and she screams girl power 👧🏼👱🏻♀️
Wow
OMG CASHY DOES GYMNASTICS TOO?? What a FEARLESS person she will be be
this is so precious
That kid had a water bottle that’s the size as her head 😮😅😅😅😂😂❤
1:15 she is so cute 🥰
She’s so cute!
This is amazing
Good Job
very active kid
Peyton is an amazing coach
What fun!
she's so cute and good at gymnastic😍
She will get their one day!
And the water bottle is bigger than her head😂
Ik this video was a year ago and she probably knows how to do like 5 of them in a row but if y’all go to the beach and she wants to do a backflip on the sand make sure to dig a hole not to deep and put the sand that was dig over the hole so it makes it softer to land idk if this will help but it might:)
1:12 this part was so cute ☺️
This was awesome
Even the 5yo is even better than me 😭
Who else realized that she told her to tuck her legs and she keeps forgetting 😂
Only practice and she will do it great she is awesome now
Can you guys make a pt 2 maybe?
We will once we get a chance to get back into the gym again
We learned on the trampoline. No thick mats or aids at all. We did all our tumbling skill upon skill before back flips. Cartwheels. Back walkovers. Back handsprings. Front handsprings. When we were solid on those basics, then we moved to such flips. Again starting on trampolines. We did not walk in and ask to do these on day one. Without the body strength it can be catastrophic.
I think learning a backhand spring helps a lot too
good job😊
I can’t believe that her coach is 12
both of them are cute... REALLY cute. Would you like to cuddle with them? Wouldnt that be so sweet?
Aww. She. So. Cute
Me being a twelve year old not even knowing how to do a cartwheel
Me at twelve doing lousy cartwheels!!👋🙂
Everyone is always asking me why my water bottle is so big (it’s like bigger then my own head) but it’s because i do gymnastics and like LOOK AT THAT FIVE YEAR OLD WITH THAT CRAZY HUGE WATER BOTTLE
The coach is younger than me😂
