*Received a response from Bushiroad today (18.05.2023)* They have confirmed that the interaction with Cordiela is correct: "With regards to your query, yes, the "choose up to" phrase gives you the choice to call a Blaster Blade and/or Dark onto RC."
Thanks! Yeah Festival Collection seems to be helping with some prices in Japan, hopefully it'll have the same if not a better effect on the TCG market.
Well... it's finally done, MLB is updated! Feel free to throw any suggestions in the comments. Since I now own Emmeline, I might revisit PBO at some point if I can get the new promo for that deck too.
It’s great and inspiring to see what an invested MLB build looks like, and I really enjoyed seeing the interesting choices made here! I’ve always wanted to get into Vanguard for a long while with MLB but never bit the bullet, so any suggestions as to how to progressively build up to this version of the deck?
Honestly alot of the deck at it's base rarity is pretty affordable except for the promos and some 1 of's like the Gradale and PG Orders. Emmeline is getting reprinted soon in Festival Collection so that should help. I'd recommend getting Cordiela first since she enables the 4th attack, then until you get Emmeline you could fill some spots with Bediveres and Kays.
Thankfully on TCGPlayer, I can more or less stomach getting most of the main engine in one fell swoop past maybe those specific Blaster Blades (~$10 a pop) and especially Emmeline (~$35 each), so I’m glad to hear that she’s getting a reprint. Still, thank you for the advice, and I’ll be looking forward to building up MLB and learning the game!
@@Nexsus2164 i would play PBO until MLB gets more support cuz right now it's kinda underwhelming 👀 That way when MLB is relevant again, you can just switch the deck core back to MLB.
@@blackfiresprout I’ll definitely consider branching out after I get the gist of the game, since already at first glance PBO seems a bit more than MLB to invest into a core engine. Still, I appreciate the advice and will look into it!
Have you confirmed the Cordiela and Dark/Blade interaction yet? From the way it's worded, it sounds like you can either only call both Blade and Dark or nothing. If you could choose to call just one of the two, I think the card would've said: "call up to one Blaster Blade and *up to one* "Blaster Dark". But instead, it only states "up to one" at the beginning of the effect. That's how I interpret it at least.
Although I wasn't able to find an official confirmation yet, pretty much everyone I have asked has said that you can call 0, 1 or both of the Blasters, it's worded rather poorly to be fair. The "choose up to" part applies to the "one Blaster Blade" and "one Blaster Dark", so 0 or 1 of either/both. "each from the soul" is to clarify the place they must be chosen from. The same applies to "call them each to (RC) in the same column", if both are chosen they must be called to the same column, so that we get 4 attacks and not 5. That's how me and my friends broke it down, others have also said it checks out. If I hear something different I'll make a pinned comment.
I can't believe how big of a difference the two moths girl make to the build 🤣🤣 You can Cordelia to bring out a Dark, use the moth girls as Dark fodders to blast something, then persona ride the next turn and get the moth girls back again. By the way, why Magic of Alteration Turnarr and not use Knight of War Damage Fosado? She just seems a lot less reliable in giving Counter Charges.

I would hope ppl didn't lose to their own deck in D due to technicalities lol 👀
This is the best version of the deck I've played against. MLB and Bruce need to go one more round
We will finish the best of 3 at some point bud 😂
glad you got your prs, stuff like festival set reprints in sets will be great

It says "call up to one each", so you can choose as many as possible regardless if you're missing the other.
Its the same with Thavas skill, you choose as much as possible even if they have less than 3 RGs.
