Kebang and Pangin circles has started constructing foothpath bridge on voluntary basis.

Fourteen days after the portion of Pasighat-Pangin and Aalo highway has been disrupted due to heavy rainfall near Rottung village in Siang district, the public of both Kebang and Pangin circles has started constructing foothpath bridge on voluntary basis. On Sunday, construction materials including GI pipe, cement, rod and ropes have been depoted . TK Engineering & Consortium Ltd has pressed their machinaries in service. The public leaders of both the circle including Kebang ZPM Topi Jerang, Pangin ZPM Oyar Muang, BJP Mandal President Taloka Darang, senior leader Tagum Sitang and others are monitoring the construction.The footpath bridge if completed will shorten the travel time of the commuters. They need not to climb the hilly track that takes around 1 hour to reach the other side.
Even fourteen days after the road was disrupted, the highway department is yet to start the restoration works of the road portion.
