I'm still glad I got to see the Aerostar at Oshkosh a few years ago. Really happy with the Comanche for MSFS, and I cannot wait to see how the Aerostar performs when you guys bring her into the sim.
Just the way you talk about the Aerostar would make anyone love it. There is such genuine enthusiasm in your voice. Apparently this is a gem on an aircraft, and sometimes gems are not appreciated in their time... until someone points out what the others missed. Good work!
I am reall loving the comanche so far thanks a lot for bringing this level of realism to the sim and I vary much look forward to what you come out with next
Here after Accusim Piper Aerostar 600 confirmed for MSFS 🙌🏻. No doubt in the sheer amount of passion and love your company truly has for aviation, loving your Comanche and I look forward to flying that iconic Aerostar.
I have msfs 2020. But i haven't flown much yet. Waiting for A2A accusim planes. Once you have experienced an a2a plane you will not look back. Almost non others even comes close to their planes. As real as it gets in a flightsim.A must have. Love these vids.🙂👍
Can't wait to fly sych a beautiful Plane in MFS! I hope you guys are able to work around the current shortcomings of Asobo's Flight Model and Engine Modeling
Just like with the Comanche, the more I learn about this plane the more excited I am about flying it in MSFS. The Comanche is fantastic but I'm craving something more challenging. Can't wait!
Flew charter in the Ted Smith Aerostars (600-601-601P) out of Houston during the 70's before Piper made them. Best plane flown, alot of long flights all over North America. Saw 400 mph ground speed one night, San Diego back to Houston. Jet stream was unusually low that night.
The only reason we are not showing 2020 progress is because we are still not 100% cleared to make this for MSFS2020, even though we are banking on this happening. We expect Asobo / Microsoft to make it possible to bring Accu-Sim in MSFS2020 shortly but only they can make this possible.
Will aircraft service _include_ compass-filling? lol It's a real shame that this example isn't flying anymore but I'm also glad you both are safe. On the bright side, it'll help you _really_ nail down those gear-up landings in Accu-Sim, and this particular Aerostar will still be enjoyed by many, many people.
Looking forward to the Aerostar, but would like to also see the Comanche in fs2020. I had it in FSX, and it was one of my favourites. Sure hope the warn looks can be captured in the aircrafts.
Dear a2a simulation team, I love your aircraft models. They are the best. I would like to thank you for everything ☺️ I have successfully completed my 5 thousand hours on a2a Cherokee. I have never been more happier than today, I can definitely say that I have knowledge of Cherokee, because of your flight model which can be directly relatable to real life situations. I learnt some stuff watching real life lessons and applying them in, which is possible because it is 💯 percent true simulation. I'm looking forward to a2a Simulations new twin engine aircraft, I'll have good PC in some months. You guys are the best 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. Words are not enough to describe my gratitude. PS: pls don't mind my english (not my mother tongue, I'm poor in English)
I love the Comanche so much, the cockpit is just fantastic. Looking forward to the Aerostar, but will it replace the Comanche in my sim, I don't think so 😉 Thanks for the video again Scott.
You just look at it. We may make turbocharged models. I've never flown a 700, but the pressurized turbocharged 600's (601p) feel like a dog down low compared to the normally aspirated "straight 600." I'd love to see Lycoming 720's on the Aerostar, the same engine in the Comanche 400
@@ShockwaveProd I think part of that may have to do with the longer wings that those P’s had. Reliant over at DXR (before the hangar exploded and took all 4 AStars out) had a 601p that they ripped the turbos off of and removed the press system. We loved flying it as it gave a bit more confidence at the lower speeds and on short runways... but yes a few knots slower. She was N6081M.
XP11 is a possibility but so far it seems MSFS2020 seems to have displaced it. I hope Xplane holds or builds on its current market as competition is good.
@@ShockwaveProd In my circle of flight simmers, MSFS 2020 is hard to get into because the avionics aren’t supported. But your war birds would be a blast in 2020.
He's definitely teasing us with the Comanche there xD I love those videos you make it's very cool to learn all of those things about an aircraft we are about to buy :D I can't wait to hear the sound of it with that air intake! I just modified the air intake of my 2016 ford focus and when i give some gas it make the sound of a freaking mustang!!
Aerostar is the super hero of piston twins, amazing how cheap these are on Controller right now. Less than half the cost of a new Pipestrel Panthera, Mooney, DA50 RG, and yet better built than either of them and twice the plane. Two best twins in the world, Aerostar for your jet route getaways and (Cessna 340 with Robertson STOL, lands anywhere a 182 can land).
The A2A Aerostar 600 is configured as a 4 seat (or 3 seat). If you put 6 seats in the Aerostar it's seriously cramped. So we removed the middle row, making it like a first class, cabin class experience. It also saves a bit on insurance.
9:10 That curve is wrong. It shows that the more you increase speed, the less of an effect it will have on power. At least i think it's wrong, based on your verbal description.
8:31 Wait. What? Some day you guys are gonna have to come clean about how Accu-Sim works and all the things it does. That thing is some sort of black magic box.
Scott In 2015: The Comanche has one of the strongest wings you will ever find on a general aviation airplane. th-cam.com/video/ykxeVxa8qJo/w-d-xo.html Scott in 2020: You can hear it it's oil canning. th-cam.com/video/x_KhYHCfnNo/w-d-xo.html The Aerostar is the new king we get it Scott 🤣🤣🤣
Every Aerostar video you post increases my excitement that you are making an Accu-Sim version of this magnificent aircraft. I truly can’t wait!
i think it has crashed
When you coming to MSFS 2020?
I'm still glad I got to see the Aerostar at Oshkosh a few years ago. Really happy with the Comanche for MSFS, and I cannot wait to see how the Aerostar performs when you guys bring her into the sim.

Great to see the Comanche again.
Scott Gentille rocking once again. Without being too nosy...what are your type ratings Scott?
IFR Multi and tailwheel

Thanks Scott

Hey, Jeremy: The Comanche is where it's at. She'll take you anywhere! We flew our A2A Comanches into Lutka, up on the flank of Mount Everest once.
Thank you, very nice video !
looks amazing and im already learning a few more things watching these videos, tysm!
I know it's a long road ahead, but man I can't wait to have this beauty in the sim! All we need to go along side her is the good ole J3 Cub!
Virtual aviation is meaningless without A2A. We are looking forward to aircraft for FSMS

Holy cow I need to clean the Comanche windows

I wonder if a Aerostar could be retrofited with 2 PT6A-21's with Hartzell 5 blade prop?
Well, we could always find out with Accu-Sim :)
After all the early development this must be your second msfs release? 😃

Thanks for the interest in A2A and FSX, we love FSX but it doesn't look like this will work in FSX once all the new features are in
Is your Aerostar only a 4-seater?

I want it. I need it!
hmmm this one next for msfs2020?
1:17 the artificial horizon do be having a seizure
Will the Aerostar be for FSX or the new flight sim? I honestly like FSX better.
Not likely, but the slight possibility exists. It depends on how Asobo / Microsoft enable Accu-Sim for MSFS2020
Yeah! The first time I did a walk a round a Navajo I said the same thing... this planes fills big! Cause you can walk underneath the tail.
9:10 That curve is wrong. It shows that the more you increase speed, the less of an effect it will have on power. At least i think it's wrong, based on your verbal description.
