Scripture does lay the blame on the Jews along with the Romans for killing Jesus. To shy away from that is not an accurate representation of the event. Peter himself on Pentecost rebuked the Jewish people for killing Jesus in Acts 2:22-23. They killed him but it was according with Gods preordained plan. This touches on the difficult subject of man’s free will and Gods sovereignty.
No one took Christs life,he gave his life🙏
Christ is King
"High hopes--for a LOW Heaven. ."
Because IS NOT!
Jesus is King
"in Christianity" no no no. Nuh nuh nuh. Are we being a hypocrite? I think we are, Mr Heeby Jeeby.
The Jewish claim that it's antisemitic to say the Jews wanted to kill Jesus is ABSURD. The Jewish scriptures CLEARLY say the Jews killed many of God's Prophets. Is the Tanakh antisemitic? Is it antisemitic to say that Israel rebelled against God NUMEROUS times throughout the Bible? Don't be ridiculous. The claim that Jesus and his followers are Jew-haters is a pathetic excuse to reject your own Messiah.
Not a single commandment specifically condemns slavery but one specifically condemns adultery, somehow God is more concerned about what people do without clothes on than slavery
if you are talking about the ten commandments, love your neighbor could be used directly to condemn slavery. Also, there are places all over the Bible where slavery is condemned. If you really thought that the Bible didn't condemn slavery, why in the heck would someone like Martin Luther King Jr. be a Christian?
@highestpeeqs9532 "could be used"...lol...why is it when ever i bring this up topic, none you can ever just say "I dont know why theyre isnt a commandment that specifically condemns slavery, theyre should be",its always back pedaling say well its covered under this commandment or its in scripture, the fact that the response is always the same,is that you dont have a good answer as to why its not there,l prove my point just by theyre being a commandment specifically condemning adultery not slavery, its that control aspect of religion
There were commandments around owning slaves in biblical times. They were treated with respect, many like family. They were fed, clothed, and taken care of by the slave owners. Sometimes they were treated so well, they chose to become slaves for life because it was better than being free. Additionally, under the law of Moses, every 6 years slaves had to be set free even if they had only been a slave for a week, although they could choose to continue serving. Slavery was also a way to pay off dept. It was a very humane system that sadly was corrupted and abused over time. God has always condemned involuntary life-long slavery however.
@@Matt10124 that's not true, the rule that requires to set slaves free after 6 years does ONLY apply to Israelites. Leviticus 25 makes it explicitly clear that slaves from other nations are slaves for life and you can bequeath them as inherited property to your children.
@@Matt10124 Do you even hear your excuses?A God that operates outside of space, time, matter would only inspire a book that condemns slavery and harming children on every other page, and it doesnt do that, nor does it condemn either of those in the commandments, your answer is the usuall word salad because none of you have a legitimate answer, believe it or not im not an atheist, but when i see atheists bring up the topic of slavery, its always that gotcha, drop the microphone moment
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
John 10:17-18 Jesus Himself says no one can take my life. He voluntarily gave His life for our sins.
A complete copout. The Jews all but forced the Romans to do it. This is historical fact. And he is also 100% wrong that our sins nailed Jesus to the cross. His love did. Big difference.
It was also prophesied that Jesus would be rejected by the Jewish people their rejection is what opened up salvation for the gentiles. Isaiah 53 prophesied what would happen to Jesus. It was always going to happen. He was always going to be rejected by His own people but ultimately we are all grafted back in. Romans 11
Homosexuality is a sin because A: it's a perversion of what God has made our sexuality for, and B: God specifically commanded us to procreate more onto the world, and with Homosexuality, you cannot procreate
the new testament is a set of books that were written seperately, and as such, they repeatedly contradict each other. That no evidence for any of the supposed events in them can be presented, they do seem to be quite fake, having never happened. Not one version of this nonsense can be shown to be the true one, and logically, not a single bit of this nonsense has to be true at all.
GOD THE FATHER HAS SACRIFICE CHRIST , BUT DID NOT ALLOW ANY NATION BUT THE JEWS WHO WERE PRIEST UNTO GOD AT THAT TIME , AND LET THE ROMANS EXECUTED THE DEED . EVERYTHING WAS ORCHESTRATED BY GOD THE FATHER
Dumb question with a false premise. Homosexuality, as in same sex attraction, is not a sin, and nowhere does the Bible call it a sin.
Actually, the Bible condemns Homosexuality as much as it condemns Heterosexuality or Bisexuality. I.E., Lust, Adultery, Fornication. Sexual sins, are sins. And it even talks about sodomites as being abominations and men who lie with men, or women who lie with women, as abominations to the Lord. And what is sin? And abomination to the Lord. And what does that mean? We need Jesus Christ as our Savior.
Agree. The ancient world had no notion of sexual orientation as we understand it today.
Literally in the first like 10 seconds they quote a verse that straight up calls it a sin. Quit lying to yourself.

It’s odd how the Jewish guy is asking these questions. The Torah is same in judaism is the same as the Christian bible but Christians call it the Old Testament Jews, call it the Torah.
The Romans were unwilling executioners. The Jews were the judge and jury who condemned him and demanded his crucifixion. Obviously, they had some political clout. They were the ones who persecuted Jesus and his followers. Not the Romans. Jews were the antagonists in the Bible, especially the New Testament. But they're gone now. Extinct. Their age came to an end when their temple was destroyed. Their people came to an end with the bar Kokhba Revolt when Jews were virtually all killed off and eliminated from Judea, which had been renamed Assyria-Palestina. Modern, talmudic Jews are not involved in the story. Israelis are not the ancient Israelites. They are not Hebrew or descendants of Shem. The only guilty party is an ancient, extinct, tribal people of Canaan.
The jews and the Romans crucified Jesus. They killed Him for what He said. It was his own choice to let them.he did it for all of us and those who crucified Him.
According to Cliffe God in the Old Testament was prophesying that Romans would kill him, it all makes sense now🤔
His blood be on us and our children. Pilate wanted to let Him go. The jews said crucify Him. Let's not pretend that this was the doing of the jews. He died for us but it was the jew that put Him there with extreme hate. The jew has been massacring christians for the last 2000 years and the cup of the blood of the saints is almost full. Cliff. Shame on you.
Is he not a Jew himself? He should already know why if he opens his Tora ...

So let me understand . Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for our sins . So Christ gave up a mortal life . Which at that time in human history would average 40 or 50 years . His reward was to sit at the right hand of God to rule the universe in all of eternity . What exactly did he sacrifice? It seems to me that what he gave up , is something he would of lost eventually . For something that was granting him incredible power . Who wouldn't take that deal ?
More faith and belief than I have.
Who owns pornhub… a Jewish rabbi
We all nailed Him to the Cross because of our Sins.
Based on the Bible and most other holy texts, gay and lesbian relationships are strictly forbidden if the book itself is being followed. I myself happen to be a thiest who believes none of the religions on earth actually know the true God, but are rather building blocks for multiple civilizations. The reason why a religion would want to ban gay and lesbian relationships is because no offspring are produced and the religion would die out eventually. Looking at the relationships themselves, Gay relationships in particular are absurdly strong with the lowest divorce rates and they have an immense empathetic attitude towards others from what I’ve seen.
I think that when it comes to this issue over who killed Jesus, should study what Jesus said in John 10: 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. No man took his life. The Jews condemned Him, yes, the Romans nailed Him on the cross. But the cross did not kill Him. Luke 23: 46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Had He been killed by man, it would have been a martyred death. But Jesus’ death which was a perfect sacrifice that paid the price for our sins. Praise His Name.
Jesus said no man takes my life I lay it down and I have the power to take it back up. His loves for us and the necessity of his sacrifice kept him on that cross and through his sacrifice he paid our sin debt.
This old canard must end. What he said is correct. Jesus had problems with the Jewish religious elites who placed a tremendous spiritual burden on the poor Jews who didn't have the money or resources to perform all the Rabbinical laws beyond the Torah. Jesus was virulently pro-Israel. He said, "salvation comes from the Jews". He made it abundantly clear the Jews were and always will be the "Chosen People".
“Crucify him” -Jews. The Bible is crystal clear.
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28 "He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1 John 2:4
Treating Genesis 1, a fable about how the world and humanity came into being, as binding law is hilarious, and wrong.
Agree. It has no scientific bearing. It’s been proved wrong so why follow it. And further more if you have to use religion to validate your bigotry then we really don’t need religion.
Okay, well sense you seem so sure about things, you must have answers. So tell me, what proof do you have that there is NOT a God? And you can't just say "I don't know" sense you've really postured yourself as a source of knowledge.
@@amethystglare it has never been proven wrong. Just answer me how does evolution creates humans ? And also why is the world so perfect and obey natural laws as if it has consciousness ?
Duh, Yeshua died for our sins, and since israel rejected Jesus, they had 1878 years of exile in horrible conditions. Pray for all unbelievers to be saved and treat everyone with the love of Yeshua. Its God's place to judge Israel and jews, not ours. He's returned them to Israel because it's jewish land forever and so He allowed them to return now that the judgement for rejecting His Son, the Messiah and lamb of God is over for previous generations sin.
Here is a better question: Q. Who wanted Jesus dead? A. The Jewish Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes, and Chief Priests. The Roman ruler gave them their wish and crucified Jesus, their Messiah.
Before I was born-again I would’ve wanted Jesus dead. We’re just as evil as they were. Like Dr. Jordan Peterson has explained…you don’t realize how easily you could be a concentration camp guard.
Fairy story. The idea that Pilate would listen to sadducees is ridiculous. He crucified by the 1000s. He hated being there.
@@vnurcombe You must have a different bible than the rest of us.
@@MichaelTheophilus906 No, I've simply read the only credible source about Pilate, Josephus. Notwithstanding Josephus is full of biases and propaganda that has to be allowed for. The idea that Pilate "negotiated" with any Jewish Council about an individual is highly implausible. Jesus was ordered by the leader of his gang, his cousin John (the Baptist), to trigger anti-Roman insurrection in the south, just as John was rebelling in the north. Jesus was ratted out, and the insurrectionists executed. The rest is embellishment. The only quasi-reliable gospel is Mark, who is much more interesting for what he leaves out, rather than what he puts in. Secrecy is the recurring theme in Mark. "Don't tell anybody about me"....time and time again. He was writing after 70 A.D., after Titus had destroyed the second temple. Presumably for an audience in Rome, but perhaps Libya or Syria. There is no resurrection in Mark. That stuff, and a whole lot of other guff, was left to Matthew and the anti-Jewish Luke to confabulate. And Paul makes no sense at all. Following James, brother of Jesus, who inherited Jesus' following, and who was anti-Gentile like his brother, and who Paul hated and was jealous of, is far more profitable historically.
Strange how he acts like this isn't in the Torah and Tanakh, or wasn't what God really meant. It's almost as if the Jews departed from the faith of their fathers long ago...
This is an idea that exists as many people want to say so and establish their own righteous justification for why they believe what they believe. I am happy at least Eli is having this discussion, I might want to say progressive as progressive Christians say similar things to establish their own righteousness before God, of note is that the same reason that our unrighteousness is awful before Him is the same reason why this abomination in action in preserved. Men don't want their actions exposed as evil, they hate the light as John 3 says, that's why Jesus is offensive for one reason, the light (God) testifies to its evil. Yet there is grace, we all deserve to be thrown before a court and declared guilty, but Jesus came and paid the fine with the cost of His body and His Divine blood. This is why Christians can say I can know God personally, because we are just by Faith, and He believed and God deemed Him righteous in Genesis, that was Abraham, Jesus Christ is God and Messiah, into the progressive Christians they can vary yet they talk and present their righteousness to God. The Hebrew Bible says our righteousness is like rags, that was from Jews who were oppressed by kings, Jews like us all have broken God's perfect laws, and design and we need salvation, Jesus said salvation comes from the Jews referring to Himself. Jesus Christ is the one person a Jew may be forbidden to study, but considering the reward, it is worth it despite the taboo and hush hush. Isiah 53 is forbidden by some to be read, and was omitted from a copy of the Tanach in one person's synagogue. It really preaches Jesus.
That's some serious spin there.
Jesus was killed by his own people the Jews because they plotted and conspired against him from the moment he began to preach. Jesus knowing and being will to die for the sins of that world does not negate the wickedness that his own people had done to him. What Cliffe is speaking is pandering politically correct bs. Cliffe also distorts and twist the scriptures he’s quoted out of content he quotes Jesus died for our sins and the sins of the world two assumptions are being made first the “our sins” somehow includes humans many other not those speaking and in the actual context of the verse, second that “world” means the entire planet which would lend credence to his first error making our sins about everyone. The context clearly conveys the meaning that the our is Jesus own people for he came to his own and his own received him not, Jesus was killed by the Jews of that wicked generation and those leading up to that moment which constituted their world, the world is not the planet earth the world is that of the Jews and the old covenant order for these Jesus died, if you don’t believe me concerning the meaning of world we have idioms in our own language that prove a world can be spoken of in this manner for example when we speak of Islam and those things related our media labels it as “the Muslim world”. I like Cliffe I thought he was smarter than this and more careful with his words, I hope he reconsiders and stop teaching nonsense. Do these facts now justify antisemitism, BY NO MEANS! Therefore why not tell the truth.
They tried to have him walked off the cliff as well.
@lemnisgate8809 - All you're doing is "splitting hairs", which ANYONE can do!! For example, Jesus Himself said that, "No MAN takes my life, but I lay it down of myself" (John 10:18). BUT Jesus ALSO said, "He shall be delivered unto THE GENTILES,....and THEY...SHALL PUT HIM TO DEATH" (Luke 18:32,33). Yes, the JEWS delivered Jesus to Pilate to be killed, Pilate (a Gentile) did not stop it from happening, We ALL had a "part" in this, if we didn't, WE would have NO NEED for REDEMPTION or to have our SINS FORGIVEN.
@@menmustchangebeforekingdomsI’m being faithful to the text I suggest you stop trying to create your own narrative and do the same… “And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.” John 5:16-18 KJV “After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.” John 7:1 KJV “Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, and consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him. But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.” Matthew 26:3-5 KJV “Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man! When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him. The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.” John 19:5-7 KJV “Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Cæsar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Cæsar.” John 19:10-12 KJV Many people assume Jesus was merely speaking about Judas but Judas betrayed Jesus in service of the high priest the chief priest and the Jews who all plotted to have him killed. If you think this to be splitting hairs that’s on you, read the text I rather believe God than someone who bends to appease and not offend man.
@@menmustchangebeforekingdomsPilate wanted to release Jesus however the Jews appealed to their own law to force his crucifixion. Jesus knowing he was going to die does not in anyway excuse them for what they did, that being said Jesus provided room for mercy and forgiveness because they did it in ignorance yet even this they refused sealing their own fate as that crooked and evil generation. Gentile means nation it does not always mean foreign nations the Jews were always called by this name though Pilat and Rome played their part it was at the behest of the Jews. You can try to throw yourself into this situation if you want laying their sins ignorantly upon yourself but that is not want the text says.
Cliffe is so adept at framing his answers (as he does here), that even if he asked the same question over and over, there's no where for the questioner to land their strawman argument.

You dont need to explain why homosexuality is a sin common sense will tell you that lol
Its a sin in religion but not in the actual world.
There’s no contradiction in these scriptures, Peter and Paul are just letting the Jews know that they had a part of Jesus being offered up to be crucified.
I know also there are scriptures that accuse the Jews of Jesus’ death; Acts 2:23 - Peter addresses "men of Judea," saying "you crucified and killed [Jesus] by the hands of lawless men." Acts 3:14-15 - Peter tells a Jewish crowd, "you denied the Holy and Righteous One...and killed the Author of life." Acts 5:30 - Peter tells the Sanhedrin, "The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree." Acts 10:39 - Peter says "They put him to death by hanging him on a tree," likely referring to Jews in Jerusalem. 1 Thessalonians 2:14-15 - Paul writes that "the Jews...killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets."
Let's not let the infallibility of the bible get in the way of some anti-seminism accusations. Not telling the truth in order to not offend is not a charity.
In John 10:18, Jesus explicitly states: "No one takes my life from me, but I lay it down of my own free will. I have the right to give it up and the right to take it back again." Key points about this statement: Voluntary Sacrifice Jesus emphasizes that His death is not forced. He chooses to lay down His life willingly. He has complete authority over His own life and death. Divine Authority Jesus states He has the "power" (Greek: "exousia" - authority/right) to: Lay down His life Take His life back again Fulfilling the Father's Command This was not an independent action, but in accordance with the Father's will. Jesus received this "commandment" from the Father.
