    Just found one today, but with flexable metal hose. :Looks to be in about the same condition as yours was. Looking forward to restoring it. Thanks for your roadmap! Suscribed...

    I have the same oil can except the plunger is frozen. I began the disassembly process, unscrewed the nuts and removed the tube. Unfortunately the plunger doesn’t pull out as easily as yours did. Any suggestions?

      I would try letting it soak in Simple green or Purple Power overnight.

    Nice restoration. I like the way you dealt with the dents in the lid. Dents can be a challenge in oil cans, especially in the can bodies if you don't want to use dent filler. Eagle 66 cans are very cool. Thanks for saving this one.

    Hermoso trabajo de restauración, me gustó el final brilloso que le dio a la aceitera. Gran trabajo, felicidades, me suscribo.

    Interesting design. What period is it?

    • @acraftsmansarsenal
      @acraftsmansarsenal  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The patent was originally issued in 1936. But there has been a few design changes to this one. So, I think this one might have been made in the 1950s or 60s.
