Insanely good run my guy, sub 8 is a helluva accomplishment. Feel like I say this every time but I love how every mechanic is used in your IB runs, it’s so cool seeing how seamlessly you combine wallbangs, mantles, and artillery while still playing clean (Idk much about gunner runs tho haha). In agreement w/Fatalis too; I’ve played tons of games and the entire sequence plus the sheer quality of the fight puts it in a league of its own. The atmosphere is excellent and I’ll never forget getting one tapped by his opening fireball lmao. Not to mention how insane he gets when superheated and he just starts roasting everything in sight, good shit. Forced flame breath towards the end is a sore spot but that’s only minor for me.
I truly appreciate the lack of scope, I personally don't use it despite how good it can be because it feels too much like an fps for my taste. very nice run, excellent work
The fact that you can still get 7.5 minutes on the final boss of the game using what's considered a "sub-optimal" way of playing the weapon is for me a worthy tradeoff, especially considering that the "optimal" way of playing this same weapon (meaning: with a special scope) is a seizure-inducing playstyle. I'm willing to spend 2-3 extra minutes each hunt if it means I don't have to suffer from only having 20 FOV for the majority of each hunt. Out of curiosity, how much longer do you think a scopeless Normal 3 HBG run would take against Fatalis? Is a sub-10 run still possible with that ammo?
With about the same RNG as this run, or even without it, I'm certain that sub 10 with Normal Ammo is possible. My worst with Spread was 8:28 and my best is 7:38, so Normal Ammo has to be there between 8 and 10 minutes.
@@theDuke-168 A mix of Teostra and Brachydium parts is the most popular before Fatalis for Hammer, you can easily find it on Internet personally I don't remember the pieces exactly. Smoke bombs make Fatalis enter a short animation where it will "search" for you, which gives an opportunity to land a few hits on it. If you use them while he is flying, they will also force him to land, which saves a lot of time.
Y'know, I rarely get to see the white flame during the ultimate, now that I am. Yeah no, I can definitely see how Fatalis could wipe out a kingdom in a night. Especially when most people AREN'T our hunters in this world.
Bayle gives off a huge Fatalis vibe, especially in that lore tidbit about how his heart will possess its consumer. nice allusion
Part braking the balls was a massive W. Didn't think it was even possible.

This is only the like, third IB run I've made where I used Mantles actually, I like playing without them a lot, but against Fatalis they come in handy
@@dynamo_lynn May have been speaking too broadly on my part haha but still, I quite enjoy your style of content!
I do miss playing World, may have to boot it back up one day.
Thanks Lynn for the run. E>
Bravely doesnt break the horns

Thank you for saving my eyes and yours with the no scope XD. I didn't know you can shoot him when he's phasing, that's really cool.
Not a GG, but a GGG
