Another great vid Kingfish. Got a question for you. You said that you kinda like to balance out the gas between the two tanks instead of just letting one go really low then switching over to the other one. Is there a reason that pilots in a real plane would want to do that.....or is that just a habit that you like to do?? Not sure how the tanks are situated, but maybe you wouldn't want to run one down and have another one full because it might create some kind of balance issues. So just wondering about that. Thanks in advance for your reply Commander.
Thanks! Your question is a good one, the gas tanks are in the wings, so if you don't balance the fuel you will have one side of the plane way heavier and would create a issue when flying and landing in particular. Pretty sure real pilots do this as well.
How long is it supposed to take to level up your personal pilot, and is there a way to check the progress? I started a new company in AH2 the other day and did like 4 one hour hauls today in Alaska and it still says my pilot is only lvl 1 (Wannabe) Does it just take dozens or hundreds of hours of flight time? Or is something wrong with my AH2 or something? Something to note though, I do not have any personal aircraft yet because i set the first ones to company, and I did also start my company with an imported third party aircraft..
It takes time to level you up as a pilot so your AH2 should be fine. You as a pilot the leveling really doesn't matter. It's your AI pilots that benefits from leveling up. I started my current game in December and I am only at level 7 Hour Builder. I think if you go under the Company Information tab and then choose Personal Info you can see all of your stats. I fly everything under the company and not personal so I don't think it really matters. I know the developer doesn't want things to be easy so it just takes time. For me it is all about building the company so making money, adding pilots, planes and bases is what I like to do. Hope this helps and thanks for watching my videos. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
