Your vessel stands out like a Queen amongst all of the other Bland 32's and Ho Hum 40's Thank you for being you.
Such a boat you two have built sailed and lived on for decades.. the perfect ⛵
Free parking, no hassle and no traffic jam! Love it!
Coronado is always nice. When I was a kid I used to ride back and forth on the ferry to Coronado all day long. I think it was a 15 cents. I used to get the money by just going around and collecting pop bottles. One of these days we need to sail down from San Francisco to San Diego hope to see Emerald Steel. Always enjoy your videos. Best wishes.
The difference between 'needs' and 'wants'! Minimalism seems to be the answer to so many questions about the best route to a happy and friendly life on Earth. Great video! You practice what you preach!
Having such a great transit system is another great thing about the San Diego area.
Not needing a car is just one of the many benefits of ocean cruising!⛵️⛵️⛵️
Susan/Suzzie, your husband is the John Wayne or Clint Eastwood of the sailing channels. Thanks for sharing 😊.
Yall are just the cat's MEOW!! So much character & charm !! Yall really know about sailing, on the hard, cruising/ liveaboard & ocean crossings & up keep/ fixing everything. Can explain to us way more understandable than others.
Great insights. We also have no car. It just makes sense.
still my number one sailing channel,,
Fun video…so true as regards the usefulness of a vehicle for full time cruisers…..thanks, Andrew (Bahamas)
Enjoyed! Thanks for posting
We love boatlife too.
Someone said Jules is the Clint Eastwood of the sailing channels, if that's so Susan is the Jamie Lee Curtis! 😊😊😊
My favorite color is Green... Really like your boat. Cool design.
❤
Loved the video, what a beautiful place you live in.
@8:44 maybe buy a cheap military knapsack for extra shopping? i have a small one and am thinking of a larger one :-)
i ride a bicycle everywhere.
Been keeping motivated by your videos for several years now while I outfit my boat. I leave in June . Keep up the great work 😊!
Best sailing channel out there! Really enjoy your stuff.
Wait...what? I thought your dinghy was your car! A nice convertible, no less. "…) Webhead USA
I love hearing yawls stories
nice car!
Always all original.
Good luck being able to land anywhere on the east coast. Very different!
Your videos bring me joy; Greetings from Graz Austria, Sailing sapore di mare 👍
Cheers!!
Another great episode guys 👍
Not much groceries for two people. I usually bring home double or triple that for just myself. Fair winds Emerald Steel.
Any new sailing adventures planned?
what about boat traffic in some harbors. still beats cars.
Build a "cycle car" and set it on deck. Lighter than a 200cc motorcycle. will carry two and some groceries.
As always very informative
A small motorcycle or maybe even a scooter could be the answers!
Hi, More "stuff" more trouble...we are totally content, why ruin it;) Thanks for the input!
👍
👍!!!
in that clip where you showed jules being loaded up with groceries you should have spliced in a few seconds of the rolling stones beast of burden.
Sweetilicious!
Contact me if you need a ride in the San Diego area!
Also, why is you home port on the stern now "Long Beach"?
Thank you for the offer, it was sweet. Emerald Steel has always had Long Beach as her home port. When we launched her after building in 1985-87, we had the option of Long Beach, where the U.S C.G documentation office was located or Santee which was our local address at the time, so we opted for Long Beach....Take care! J and S
😀👍👍👍❤
