I created this video to keep track of certain clips for when I make another out of context or inevitably make a Gem and Etho being siblings video but it was entertaining so I decided to post it….enjoy!
Gem and Etho are the two sweetest yet most chaotic Hermits, and make such an entertaining duo. Gem and Grian are also a brilliant duo because that’s just pure chaos and they seem like siblings when they interact
There are a few other Hermit pairings or groupings that are really good! Mumbo, Grian, and Scar XB and Keralis XB and Beef XB and Hypno Beef and Skizz Doc and Ren Cleo and Scar Cleo and Joe Etho and Bdubs Joel and Iskall Some Hermits just play off each other so well!
@@Calamity-Clips Oh yeah, that's good too! There were just too many for me to think of all of them! Another one I thought of later was Iskall and Stress!
I really appreciate how the Hermitcraft fandom looks at male/female friendships and doesn't decide to ship everything all the time. That feels very rare in fandom spaces.
@@eclipse4507 I regret to inform you that sadly, fans ship Real Life people all the time. Actors, singers, other entertainers... That is why it stands out to me how much less of it there is among Hermitcraft fans.
There is shipping in the community but only the personas not the actual people themselves, they even have a tag they all use called Hermit Shipping so it can be easily avoided by people who don't want to see it/aren't interested. It also means the Hermits themselves can avoid seeing it too. As far as I can tell it's all very respectful.
not really tbh. etho is almost certainly gen x (maybe even a very early millennial possibly) and gem is in millennial range, like right around the cusp there. its not that uncommon to have siblings with an age gap like that. i know plenty of people that were born when their older sibling was in their late teens approaching adulthood, and they just kind of grow up with having an adult as a sibling for most of their childhoods. like it happens lol
Etho is the cutest with gem they are such siblings omg last time I’ve seen Etho act like this is team Canada gem brings out the best in ho they are such siblings 😭 😭
Now I understand why etho fans are called ethogirls and why gem fans are called gemboys, it’s cause gem is the biggest fan of etho and she’s a girl and etho is the biggest fan of gem and he’s a boy!
