It helps that Cleo has none of the hero-worship most of the other hermits do as they never watched Etho at all, ever. She sees him as a regular dude. And Etho must really like that. Plus Cleo is funny, personable, and can take insults as good as they can give it. They’re a perfect matchup! Just watch any of their TCG matches where they volley trashtalk back and forth. Would love love love to see an Etho/Cleo survival series. Hardcore would be awesome. It would likely be short but I bet they would prefer that. Even better - add Bdubs!

Ever since their very first meeting in Minecraft/speaking to each other during RFTW you could tell Bdubs was SMITTEN (in a platonic way… though he did call Etho sexy completely seriously during an OOGE series followed up immediately by “I’m married”). It was adorable.

As someone who watches Ethos life episodes first I gotta say this is probably the best interaction in all the series so far. Was so hilarious but also real and shots were definitely fired that day 😂 I was laughing and dying when I first saw that unfold 😂 The funniest part is people didnt let it go either and it became a recurring bit in a lot of series lol

PvP wise. Whilst I don’t think Etho can hold a candle to the new guard that are just insane. By Last life standards he’s pretty good. A Tier I’d say. I think Joel, Scott and Pearl are probably S. But Etho, Martyn and Grian are a credible A Tier.
