I honestly didn't notice her hand until I read the comments and rewatched the video. How can people be so ignorant? This woman did an excellent job. I was very curious on how you cut a pineapple Like this. Thank you for the video
I've noticed that indeed. If that was the case I would have named the video: Peeling a Pineapple - The Fast Way. The 'fast version' refers to my older normal speed version of the same footage. Different version, not different way. :)
TheGriefingEnder I guess I'm enjoying this. I'ts said clearly in the description that it's the faster version of a slower video, and still people go nuts thinking that 'fast version' means 'fast way'. :D
***** nah you do it because the way you word it brings in more traffic getting more views for your adsense and you know it. It's a misleading title and you know it. That's why you don't change it.
crazybadcuber Yup, in a way you're right. 5½ years ago I uploaded a normal speed of this video. (Here: Peeling a Pineapple) At that time it wasn't even possible to monetize YT videos in my location. However, for some reason, it got hundreds of thousands of views. Some people complained that it takes 5 minutes to watch the video, so I simply sped up the original footage and uploaded the fast version as well and used annotations and description to guide people to the faster version. I named the video like that, because it is the fast version of the original one, isn't it? Meanwhile, coupla years later, YT enabled video monetization in my home country too, so I started systematically putting adsense on all of my videos. Including the original and the fast version of the pineapple peeling. I think no one complained about a 'misleading' title (the description has all the time told about the existence of the original slow version) until someone uploaded a video about peeling a pineapple in a really fast way. That video went viral (millions of views) and because of the wording of my video's title, some of those viral views seeped to my videos as well (yes, also the slow one gained extra views). Those people probably expected another video with a fast WAY to peel a pineapple, when my video has been here all this time about a fast VERSION of a slower video. The question is, should I change the perfectly correct title and not collect the extra adsense revenue because some people feel mislead? I think not, which you were right about. I *was* thinking of renaming the video 'Peeling a pineapple - the fast version with bouncing boobies and explosions', but in the end I decided to leave it like it originally was. Thanks, and sorry!
Whats impressive is how little she wastes. That's the reason why she carves the spots in single rows rather than just shaving another entire layer off.
I usually eat those little brown husk pieces, but this actually looks like some carving fun. I look forward to discovering how it is not as easy as it looks the first few times;)
This is actually the RIGHT way to cut a pineapple to maximize the amount of juicy flesh. I grew up in the tropics and this is how I learned to cut a pineapple. The video is speeded up, it isn't done that fast, but doesn't take long either at slower speed. TIP: After skinning it, cut lengthwise segments, start eating from the top end of the segment as that is the more acidic end...the pineapple slice gets sweeter and sweeter and by the time you get to the bottom, it is heavenly sweet. I love pineapple. I've been eating pineapple almost every day when in season.
WHY PEOPLE KEEP SAYING THAT SHE MISSED TWO FINGERS BECAUSE OF THIS SKILL??? YOU GUYS ARE SO RUDE AND SO MEAN!!! YOU KNOW WHAT, ALMOST ASIAN PEEL PINEAPPLE THIS WAY TO NOT WASTING THE PINEAPPLE AS YOU GUYS, OK? AND EVEN ME DO IT ALL THE TIME, AND I STILL HAVE 10 FINGERS, SO SHUT UP!!!
***** it's just the normal way to peel pineapple in Vietnam. And it's not dangerous as u see via this clip. :D , i have tried to do this so many times, however, i failed all :((
the price of this pineapple... USA credit card companies would set your due date to 3/18 and 4/20 and 5/19 and 6/18 and 7/20 etc, so that you don't know which day it is, and even if you pay exactly on that day but 2pm Pacific Time, they say it is past 4pm New York time and they consider you late any way. And then they charge you $39 fees. And that is 15 of these pineapples. In Thailand or Indonesia, it probably would be equal to 50 of these pineapples. And yeah, the credit card companies, they tell you, that's fair.
I watched it and was impressed. Then, after I was done, read the caption and LOL'd at the "eight-fingered" piece. I wonder how that happened? I'm sure losing two fingers was worth it to her. How many other eight-fingered Vietnamese woman can say they have nearly 1.5 million hits on TH-cam?
I'm sure she was born handicapped so it wasn't because of using knife that makes her an eight-fingered woman :( And by the way, I also use this way to peel a pineapple, and I still have 10 fingers :) at normal speed it isn't dangerous as it looks in high speed XD
Still little bit slow. You don't break the stem. Break the other end. The stem will be a holder. You hold it (the stem), and remove the skin, just like the way she does. It's faster if you remove the eyes vertically (hold the pineapple up - your hand is holding the stem, and start removing the eyes vertically, not diagonally).
Lol my mother just uses a metal scythe and it literally chops through anything like butter. She peels pineapples in like 20 secs each in perfect slices
"By popular demand I made a faster two-minute version" Are you really serious? Did people actually send you messages and comments saying "Yo dude, please speed this up?"
Najprawdopodobniej wyćwiczona metodą prób i błędów ... a kilka błędów było, bo widać że pozostało już szczątkowe trzy palce u lewej dłoni. Trochę to smutne.

Cheyenna T Same here. Maybe coz I'm mainly here to learn. Not to discriminate other people
People think The fast version doesn't mean sped up but a fast way to peel pinapples -_-
I've noticed that indeed. If that was the case I would have named the video: Peeling a Pineapple - The Fast Way. The 'fast version' refers to my older normal speed version of the same footage. Different version, not different way. :)

I don't know why, but this is so satisfying.
Whats impressive is how little she wastes. That's the reason why she carves the spots in single rows rather than just shaving another entire layer off.
Nice video with a rocking music.
I usually eat those little brown husk pieces, but this actually looks like some carving fun. I look forward to discovering how it is not as easy as it looks the first few times;)
Pretty cool design
Now this i can handle !! How awesome is this ?. Thank you for uploading !!

Great video. I learnt a new trick. Never seen it done that way.
The pineapple is a very delicious and sweet fruit that other than refreshing can provide you numerous health benefits.
Brilliant. Why didn't I think of this technique before? I also want her hat.
Professional !!
Great video.
Thank you for sharing.
probably the best and most " gentle" way... very effective too....
I bet I know where the other two fingers went.
She is missing two fingers.. I guess that's the price you pay for this mad skill!
***** it's just the normal way to peel pineapple in Vietnam. And it's not dangerous as u see via this clip. :D , i have tried to do this so many times, however, i failed all :((
+kaito kid Looks like deformed hands - RHS slightly. Great knife skills.
+kaito kid Vietnamese people peel pineapple by this way
+kaito kid I think Detective Conan is looking for you...
+kaito kid More like the price you pay for agent orange
What a pro! I would not be able to do it that fast - ever.
cool skillful way to peel n clean a pineapple
Rather interesting. Thanks!
Exelente video!! muy pero muy bueno saludos desde Venezuela...
This is art
I take it that she learnt this by trial and error.
A hundred trials and two fingers worth of error?
jimmbbo ikr
I thought the same, when I see she only had half a hand :)
bigpun220 Learnt? Are you British?
Who me?
this song speaks right to the heart. link?
This is how I peel my pineapple. Wouldn't say it's the fastest, but it definitely yield the most.
htn1986 want really fast? watch this th-cam.com/video/1rEQYG_prWE/w-d-xo.html
She has such respect for the pineapple!
"Hey, could you maybe hold the pineapple with your other hand?"
"But this is my strong hand!"
This is my nation where u can c lots of imazing things like this. We maybe poor and lack of many things but friendly and love peace.
Yeah , the video is speed increase but the technique of the woman is wonderful
I just finished peeling one that ended up looking like my face after it hypothetically went into a fruit blender.

I dont care about how the video is sped up, but why does this have over a million views? why is a person peeling a pineapple so interesting?
fingers probably
im just sittin here with my headphones on stoned with half my mind hanging out bcuz this lady just blew it
it would be easier to use woodturning machine with moving milling machine attached to it and low rpm to get pineapple peeled
+Must Valge That would make an awesome video at least.
maybe i dont fully appreciate the difficulty involved in peeling a pineapple...
It's not really about the difficulty, but the pain in the assary to peel it :)
Max Becker watch this guy th-cam.com/video/1rEQYG_prWE/w-d-xo.html
Oh i did, this time, it seems that it'd be a lot of pain in the hand for me :) Especially the palm area...
that makes sense!
She is awesome!
I don't even bother peeling pineapples, I just eat the shell together with the "flesh". It hurts a bit tough.
i guess we all would do that too if we were retards,
thank you !
perception is everything
Let alone being time-consuming, the method seems material-consuming too. No tools to pick the spots?
The background music really sounds like Smiley by Mika Nakashima
Indeed
i never knew there was any type of symmetry in those dots til now.
Ken Young III unluckily, she, maybe, never know she is famous on youtube...
Lộc Châu this is true. But I'm sure she still knows she's awesome!

Oh wow, I never thought to get rid of the eyes like that, thats a whole lot neater looking than I've been doing
Oh the fast version, I get it......
nice paw. is it the butler from scary movie 2?
Omgoodnes look at his hand!
amazing 💙
i get it, its because he sped up the footage hahaha.
...wait.
This is the way to keep as much meat as possible!
Yeah, she's fast...only cost her a thumb, a ring finger, and half an index finger to dial in her speed...
Take another look at her hand. It's obvious she was born with a deformity and it wasn't the cause of an accident.
Its not obvious but if it is, my mad for making a joke about it. In that case she's doing exactly what she was born to be doing...boom roasted!
*bad
LOL
AMAZINGGG
u made the song?
***** Nah, it's picked from Kevin McLeod's royalty free music library.
In my country they do it like a pro.
Good video, thanks for speeding it up. Lil tedious
Good
I thought everyone did that...
Pineapple looks good.
Woah,Woah,Woah! Whaaat?! 8 fingers?! Damn
Now edit it so the footage isn't sped up.
Why bother? The original footage has been there for 5½ years already. Peeling a Pineapple
***** Oh, cool.
yarinice
Tony Wong ...Yeah?
***** watch this guy th-cam.com/video/1rEQYG_prWE/w-d-xo.html
expert..
I want a FastForward key in my life too !! :(
Now I know who to blame if I find a finger in my pineapple juice!!!
master...
Lol my mother just uses a metal scythe and it literally chops through anything like butter. She peels pineapples in like 20 secs each in perfect slices
MalditoMon Thank you for the laugh.
MalditoMon can you become straight. You said no. Theres the answer to the first question
Her fingers just got in the way of her craft
Watching this video sucks for someone with trypophobia. I'm glad she cut off all those black spots though. So cleanly too.
that would take me an hour to do that way!
I like it.
someone should get her this
Pineapple Easy Slicer
only in vietnam
NO
fast forwarded version
"By popular demand I made a faster two-minute version" Are you really serious? Did people actually send you messages and comments saying "Yo dude, please speed this up?"
Wow, she was really fast.....
damn it. trypophobia alert
I think she should slow down if her left hand is any indication...
I'm a Vietnamese :))
Najprawdopodobniej wyćwiczona metodą prób i błędów ...
a kilka błędów było, bo widać że pozostało już szczątkowe trzy palce u lewej dłoni.
Trochę to smutne.
Ty
Lets just hope spongebob has insurance
that's not fast... it's slow as shit...
Okay well yeah that may be fast but I don't think I'll be trying that any time soon, I like having my fingers. 👋
nice hat
If you look closeley it's sped up
Yeah, the normal speed version was slow as hell, so I simply sped it into 2 minutes. The original content is here: Peeling a Pineapple
***** I think people need is brainwashing you. you just do as she says, the goods
The song sounds better with speed 1.25
wow shes an artist fruits
she so fast
Actually, this --> pineapple and mathematics is way faster than your video while at normal speed.
I know. I've seen it before. If you're interested pineapple videos in different speed, here's this video in normal speed: Peeling a Pineapple
CologneCarter watch this trick th-cam.com/video/1rEQYG_prWE/w-d-xo.html
hate to tell you this but why buy this when you can grow it.
That's the way Vietnamese people peel a pineapple. It's not dangerous at all.
She is missing 2 fingers, it's not because of peeling pinapples.
This lady has a couple accidents with that knife
I know it saves more of the fruit and looks aesthetically more pleasing but I'm too lazy to cut pineapples like this.
why am i watching this stuff
the potatoes?
i got here from the guy cutting a golf ball with a cleaver
what's wrong with his left hand?
***** Probably from cutting pineapples so fast...
Sebastian B. haha
I don't see what's so funny about it.
