    I have been a powerlifter and strongman for 21 years. Recently moved over to just kbs and callisthenics. Best thing I ever did, why anyone thinks you can’t build muscle with kbs is beyond me!

    Fantastic as ever Pat, don't let the negative people get you down. I came across you 5 years ago, when I was obese. I lost the weight got into training and became a Trainer myself. I'm now training for the KB Cert myself.. Your video's have bee invaluable to do. Every blessing!

    For all those people who say "Kettlebells don't build muscle",I say Bullshit! Been doing this for a month and got some great gains. Not like a body builder but my mass has increased and definition is coming on nicely. You will end up with an athletic/fighter's physique but if that's what you are after this routine delivers.

      +Big Dave True, true. I mean, come on. Effort + proper form + heavy shit + proper diet = gains. It's mathematical fact. Next, the dummies will be telling me I'm not making gains by lifting concrete bags day in, day out.

    Kettlebells can be used for conditioning or/and strengh depending how u use them.
    They can make some muscles grow, but not like a bodyBuilderlike, but like an athlete.

    11 years and still a classic. Was so hyped that I no longer have to wait around in the gym for 6 different machines/benches to be free.

    This set of movements is one of my favorite kettle bell exercises. I added an overhead squat while my arms are still pressed up for quad/core work. Ether way its done its a killer....

      Sure why not? Not the same results, but you would engage your core more, because it's a one arm press. Try doing ladders, those can be a killer

    I'm starting out with two 16kgs, I already have one 55lb (troy lol). I plan on alternating the 55 on each set pretty soon. I have a question on other things I could be doing during the week without taking away from any gains. Maybe doing swings and windmills one or two of the other days of the week?

    Hey mate, can you 'superset' this routine? I did this today and did 5x clean+press, then immediately 5x squats... rest 60 secs, do for 10 sets.
    appropriate, or should i do all cleans, then all squats?
    awesome, simple protocol. know what im doing for the next 4 weeks!

    Hey Pat, are kettlebell snatches considered a “pull” exercise?

    • @supmuhhumbruh
      @supmuhhumbruh  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Broadly I might classify them as a pull, insofar as they’re a hinge (which itself sometimes get classified as lower body pull) plus a high-pull component.
