Hey Brother I love your channel and you have often saved me from my self when I can't find something to watch. I thought I would return the favor. Perfumes and fragrances in all products, soaps, lotions, makeup, air freshners, all of it have carcinogens! In fact they can have any one of up to 500 different carcinogens. Look at the cancer rates and the fact that they continually rise and the people.getting cancer are younger and younger. A 100 years ago it wad seldom children had "the wasting disease" now it is common as we let ourselves be saturated with chemicals. Now most people don't want to hear what I am saying as they somehow value how they smell over life itself. I hope you are smarter. You really seem like a smarter than average individual. One final thing, humans have eternal spirits, whether we like it or not after you die you exist eternally as a spirit. You can get a new body, but only if you choose to follow Christ! There are over 2600 pieces of archeological evidence proving Bible places, people and events occurred just as they were recorded! God bless you friend I hope you pass the test that this life is. ❤❤❤😊
*GREAT CHANNEL FOR SO MANY REASONS!:* (1) You can tell this is a REAL fan of movies, not just some YT channel maxing out algorithm optimization. (2) Narrates it HIMSELF! (Not using one of those awful narrator bots) (3) Gives us each movie in TIME-STAMPED CHAPTERS! *_THANK YOU_* It's appreciated! (4) Last but not least - puts in the work for GOOD CONTENT and has good taste in movies!
As an Aussie, I have commented one or twice the very mild frustration of searching for a film on any of the streaming services and realising it’s licensed to that service in the US. It was nice to hear in this video, not only a disclaimer for my fellow international viewer.. but I’m impressed you’ve gone the extra mile by adding where the films are currently streamed in our locations. It’s appreciated.
@@MAD7... Yeah, I only watch media on my Meta Quest2. I can’t get a VPN on it. I don’t own a pc. I had a VPN on my phone but after the 12 months I never utilised it. Something to consider if a VR app for VPNs becomes available on the meta store.
Hey Now Darren! Mary and Max has been on my list for well over 10 years but I've never watched it! Moving to top of list... Tonight, rewatching Upgrade! Thanks again for the hours you put in for all of us!
Matchstick Men is great! I had the pleasure of watching it based on one of your prior recommendations! As someone riding out the Midwest freeze - Many Thanks 🤘🥶
Predestination is based on Robert A. Heinlein's short story "All You Zombies". The movie is amazing as it is, but kudos to the filmmakers for such a faithful adaptation of such a weird story. There's nothing lazy about the script, and it should have been in contention for the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar.
Hey Now, I remember watching Predestination long ago.. I really don't remember it but I kind of remember being angry about the ending.. it's been a decade and I'm a different person now ! I'll give it another shot.. thanks! 😃
I watched "The Dead" because of you and am I ever glad I did. Its low budget at its finest. Thanks bro! I want you to recommend more African movies in English. Im one of those idiots that cant enjoy a movie through subtitles or bad dubbing. I am aware that this requirement is only harming myself. So many Korean and Russian films I am missing out on. I wish I was better.
I have to agree with all your reviews of movies in this episode! I just watched Predestination and it was good! Definitely different! The twist towards the end is just unexpected!
It's been YEARS since I've seen A Simple Plan. Since first came out on VHS and that's a long time! We'll definitely give it another watch. Can't wait to see the others on the list. Love your recommendations, Darren!
I read the book a while before the film came out... and the film did disappoint - I was told that the book was always better, and that was NOT the case here! :) Still a good book, tho.
Aloha. I definitely think “The Professional “ should be on this list. My first time watching Natalie Portman and she was just a child. It’s a hitman movie.
10 Cloverfield Lane was a movie I just kinda tripped over accidentally and was absolutely gripped, John Goodman was so chilling 😧 and all this talk about Boondock Saints II means I'm going to have to watch it again now 😂 and definitely gonna check out The Dead and Predestination, cheers ❤
Really enjoy this content, you hold the show together well. I love the 15-20 minute format, and your continued updating of all platform, plus your focused lists and highlight content. Thanks! 👍
I also liked Terminator Salvation. I'm a fan of Christian Bale and when I first watched this movie I was needing just 2 easter eggs to make it really cool. No joke it delivered on both for me. I wanted to see old school Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800. And I wanted to see the same Polaroid of Sarah Connor for the first move. The movie is underrated.
Totally underrated , saw it in theatres ...thought it was a super badass terminator movie an made up fo T3 rotm , love Sam Worthington and Anton yelchin
I missed the shut down of my local video stores. The video guy always knew what I would like. It’s great having your suggestions, I hate turning off a movie midway cause it sucked. 😊 thanks
How do you not have any of the Benson and Moorhead movies that are free on TH-cam on this list? I know you've mentioned one of them before but they really deserve more recommendations. Spring, The Endless, and Resolution are all on TH-cam for free and all deserve a watch. Go watch their movies. Now. They are all amazing.
Just watched School Ties again after viewing your video and came back to comment. Love that movie. I remember back when I watched it the first time. It is just as powerful now and it was back then

I watch ENVY every few years. When it came out I won some sweepstakes somewhere for a can of Vapoorize spray! It was amazing. We still don't know how it works. We've lost three pets and one child accidentally due to it's power. We no longer have it sadly. It might have been the only one!
Oh yes, I find The Boondocks Saints II: All Saints Day criminally underrated. If anything, the climax was much more epic than the first one because it ended with a massive shootout.
I'm not interested in the horror type movies but there are a few on the list that I noted. I became interested in Mean Dreams when I recognized Colm Feore in one of the shots. I don't think I've seen White Lightning before. That looks like a fun film that would be worth watching. I was also surprised a little when I noticed your list of big budget movies shown @10:50 included three Alfred Hitchcock movies.
Robert A. Heinlein has written some of the best science fiction and on several occasions people have tried to make them into movies. Predestination is probably the best adaptation in that it is pretty true to the book. The next one would be The Puppet Masters. And in last place would be Starship Troopers. Starship Troopers is a GREAT book about following an Infantryman through training and into the field of battle against the "BUGS". The movie is not!
I'd add the movie 'Hobson's Choice' starring Charles Laughton. A 1954 black and white comedy from the UK. I was bored one evening last year and came across it and decided to give it a quick look. I got caught up in it and couldn't believe just how much I enjoyed watching it.

While The Dead didn't really do anything ground breaking in terms of story, it had some amazing cinematography. The sequel had the stronger story, but really both films look just gorgeous. If you go into those movies with the understanding that you aren't getting a fresh story you'll be fine. Oh, and if you can track down a disc of the first film make sure you listen to the audio commentary track. It details the many trials and tribulations the film encountered while the movie was being made. It is well worth a listen.
Try searching "Primetime Movies" on youtube and see if anything shows up listed as free. They'll show you paid rentals too but look for the word "Free" next to the movie titles.
I felt bad about Sam's character in Terminator: Salvation. He basically became a glorified Ken doll for the machine. All the while convince he's human, when he stopped being human decades before.
Im interested to know what Darren vandam's favourite movie of all time is? You can only say one.... Mine is Dawn of the dead 78. Peace and thanks for a great channel man.
As far as underrated time travel flicks go... I thought the 2005 film 'The jacket' was quite decent, and rather unique, it strays from the typical futuristic tech based sci-fi conceptualization featured in most time travel films, and, as such, lends itself to a realm of somewhat timeless possibilities.

Oh, and if you can track down a disc of the first film make sure you listen to the audio commentary track. It details the many trials and tribulations the film encountered while the movie was being made. It is well worth a listen.
"Are you crying?"
"Yes. Tears of joy."
are TH-cam for rent movies in Canada available in 4K, thanks.
White Lightning was scored by Charles Bernstein who scored The Entity, Cujo, and the original Nightmare on Elm Street.
School Ties is a fantastic film, thats when i fell in love with Brendan Fraser, hes so under rated
Simple Plan is a great recommendation.
Which one can I watch here on TH-cam from South Africa?
Try searching "Primetime Movies" on youtube and see if anything shows up listed as free. They'll show you paid rentals too but look for the word "Free" next to the movie titles.
request if u could please share links for movies from intrro part of video
Is the Burt REYnnolds obscurity Skullduggery out on dvd?
So when you say it has a masculine scent is that saying it smell like beet and sweaty posterior?
I felt bad about Sam's character in Terminator: Salvation. He basically became a glorified Ken doll for the machine. All the while convince he's human, when he stopped being human decades before.

Am i not looking correctly? 'Envy' is not free on youtube?
I loved boondock saints 2. Especially Julie Benz!!!!
Me too. This role was so different than any I've ever seen her in.
A Simple Plan is good. Flick Connection on its way to 500K. Congrat.
