saying duncan a better passer than curry is wild. curry had more influence on the game, broke the 3 point record, won unanimous mvp, 4 chips and is the greatest shooter oat
Steve Nash before D'Antoni's revolutionary offense was a 11PPG and 6APG player, turned into 17PPG and 11APG after. Never even made it to a single NBA Finals in his entire career while playing on one of the deepest rosters in the league while winning his MVPs. He was competing with MVP's with two other guys on his team during that run (A'Mare and Shawn Marion), which can't be said for too many MVP winners.
I love the takes, but D-Wade was on pace to be GOAT level. That year he averaged 30 / 5 / 7.5 / 2.2 / 1.3 was nasty, he was arguably the best in the late 2000s with Kobe, LeBron and Dwight being his only competition. If he continued that trajectory and didn't team up, his numbers would be looking hell of a lot different, but I think he knew his body was starting to slow down so it was wise of him to let LeBron take over.
This is just my list of an "objective" list I can think of. Mostly based on accolades, reputation, and the numbers they put up. 1 LeBron and 2 Kobe is just cut and dry. 3 Tim Duncan and 4 Steph Curry is a toss up, even Shaq being 3 or 4 is reasonable but at 5 is fair. 6 has to be KD, 7 KG (I think if he just had better luck we could see him higher but that didn't favor him (24,15,6 as a big in the 2000s? There was no menace like him), 8 D Wade. 9 Jokic and 10 Giannis but the only ones who have potential to get much higher depending on how the rest of their careers pan out. 11 Dirk because Giannis and Jokic both accomplished what he has and they're still writing out their story. 12 AI, 13 Kidd because he has a finals appearance as the #1 guy as well 14 Kawhi (has everything except the MVP and consistency), From this point, it's more of a tier of the straight up ballers who couldn't accomplish more team success or were secondary pieces for the best teams: 15 Harden and 16 Westbrook because those individual numbers are insane, they just don't add up to team success. 17 AD, 18 T-Mac (could've been higher if his prime was longer) 19 Luka (also very high potential to crack top 10) 20 CP3 (many deep playoff runs in his prime even though he was outmatched) 21 Pierce (has team success over VC and his numbers are just overall better than Ray, reputation wise he was feared and clutch) 22 Nash (and this is just riding off the fact from his Mickey Mouse MVPs, some credit is deserved for revolutionizing offense and being so efficient but he wasn't a straight up dog or winner even from the players below him) 22 VC (no team success to be placed higher, and his numbers never reflected how good he truly was like when you see T-Mac, Westbrook or Harden's numbers) 23 Ray Allen, 24 Kyrie, 25 Tatum Sorry, neither Manu, Draymond, Klay, or Tony Parker ever led a team on their own. In good conscience I can't even rank them here. I just don't value what they did being the second, third, fourth options on those teams to be greater than what the rest of the list was able to accomplish. If we got to see them in their prime leading teams and putting up bigger numbers then it would make more sense to me, but will they average around the ballpark of 30 if given the opportunity? I don't think so personally and there's still Dame, Embiid, Gasol, Jimmy Butler, etc to consider.
Saying Tim Duncan is a better passer than Steph Curry is absurd and inaccurate. 😂 Steph is actually a GREAT passer and can pass off the dribble. It's just not his primary role on that team bc he's the greatest shooter ever and incredibly good at getting open off-ball
Luka at 25 is a MASSIVE W🔥💯
Jokic, Giannis, and KD should all be above wade and Garnett imo
These kids think points equals being the best.....no kids

They are sleeping on the 06 run. That's the biggest difference between him and KD
Paul Pierce is a glaring omission.

@@ItsJustZeeBTW This is great^^
Damn, I forgot about Melo, slot him in from 18-22, and move the rest of the list down.
@@ItsJustZeeBTWI’m sorry I’m taking kawhi over j Kidd any day of the week and he has multiple dpoys and finals mvps
Put some respect on Dirk's name

Duncan has 5 championships not 4
4 in the 21st century, which is what this list refers to. Duncan’s first championship came in 1999!
List is good. Yall too young to speak on peak kobe Duncan etc
We actually wanted Duncan to be even higher on the list!
