One of my all-time faves as a kid. You can juggle juggernaut by just doing the run-attacks on him. If you time it well, he will not be able to attack you.
@@patomaletero yeah there’s a small window on which he will fall down again. Run attack or long shot laser both works the same. Run attack is faster but it’s the same effect as long as you time it well.
DECO is one of my fave arcade devs, distinct style and approach to their games. This one becomes really fun to play once you figure out all the dumb boss strats/loops.
DECO (DataEast Corporation) didn't own the rights to X-Men (Konami had the 'Arcade exclusivity' at this time) at the time this game was made, it's also why Jugg doesn't look anything like his comic book counterpart - it's all copyright shenanigans.
As a kid I always wondered what did ‘taco’ means on that enemy name. Years later I found out it’s actually ‘tako’ , which means octopus in Japanese. So that enemy it’s actually called ‘mech/mechanical octopus’. But was a weird way to name it in-game lol
good job, but theres still room for improving - you get hit a lot, and sometimes miss barells or other equipment on bosess. You know what the ultimate speedrun would be? The no hit one - with maximum energy collected
Brings back memories when arcades were awesome.
Ok!Go! god this game brings back memories. subbed keep it up
Thanks!

also if juggernaut falls to the ground, you can time the laser attack and he will fall again

I did not know this
One of the DECO's Arcade legendary ones, enjoyable to its best!

i found a glitch at the last boss. red skull gets stuck to the edge on the left of the screen and u can just attack without him hitting u lol.
Why do I remember the bosses taking a lot more hits to kill?
Okay.
Nostalgia is killing me.
Right now.
Amazing !
Thanks, glad you like it :)
I forgot how these characters looked in the 80s & 90s
i never made it past the underwater level on SNES :(
