I have a fun idea. What if you create an area that looks maybe generated or it prolly doesn’t matter. However, you have a cool Pokémon at this area maybe a shiny. As someone get lured in, the pokémon dies from TNT creating a Funny MOMENT…. OR you have a drop door and as the player walked over the pressure plate to go towards the pokémon a whole opens up and it falls into lava 😂

I was wondering too, but I'm assuming it's because cobblemon has better mechanics than pixelmon. I'd even say the animations on the pokemon are better, but the visuals are definitely an abrupt change. Just preference ig
My guess is its probably way less resource-intensive so people can stream the game without any issues, feel like the one major drawback from the pixelmon SMPs is how much they lagged and broke down
Not gonna lie I'm sad that pixelmon isn't coming back. I personally think pixelmon is still the better mod so I hope I'm proven wrong. I'm just happy that the minecraft pokemon is back

I was there for the stream but missed why it is they're using cobblemon over pixelmon. It doesn't really matter honestly but just curious is all.
Maybe cause cobble is more synonymous with Minecraft than pixel. Cause like pokemon already is a pixel game 🤷♂️
