Ali, I'm almost 70 years old... after 15 years of poor health issues, I'm back to a healthier place. I've been using your videos to get back into shape... 6 weeks in and I'm in a great place. Thank you for your workouts... much success to you and your team.
Ali, you guys are the greatest. I've had my Total Gym for 5 years but due to health reasons I really never used it that much. As my health improved I decided to start using it again but I really didn't know what I was doing... and then I found your videos... very instructive, engaging and I didn't feel like I had to be Superman. I love the softness in everyone's voices... no yelling, no shaming. And the results are amazing.
Just started your Reformer/Trainer workouts and enjoy them. The Total Trainer model I have only goes up to about 6 or so levels. I just pick a level that I can complete the workout at. Sound reasonable? My intention is to gradually work my way up as I get in better condition.
Hi Coach Ali, thank you for the great exercise. My husband and I follow along with your exercises twice a week now. I have a question that I would appreciate your advice. We have a total gym at home and follow your exercise. My husband target’s is to be able to do pull up in a month (he cannot do any pull up right now). We wonder that if we keep following your upper body total gym work out, it will be enough to help me husband to reach his goal, OR we should supplement exercises with dumbbells? We look forward to your opinion. Thank you.
Total gym is actually not a bad option to help with pull-ups. At its highest incline it should apx 70% of your body weight so if you can get to 20 pull-ups on a total gym, you should be able to do a handful of pull ups unassisted. You can always add a few pull-up sets to the end of your workout to practice :)
Coach Ali Fitness Thank you for this advice. Your words are exactly what we needed. My husband is very excited to try this on his next upper workout day.
I really love your reformer workouts. I know they are a bit older, but they are amazing, I use them with my total gym. I see some of them numbered, but I don’t see that many of them even though I subscribed. Am I missing some? I try to do 40-50 minutes everyday. And I have been rotating them. Thanks!
I cannot recommend your videos highly enough - thanks so much for all of these man, its really awesome of you - do you sell t shrts or have a go fund me page or something where I can show some appreciation monetarily?
i like this pullup bar better than total gym's. though i have total gym 1500, i notice that model and this total reformer look like they have the same frame. would the pull up bar from this fit the frame for total gym 1500?

TeslaDRay I believe they are not compatible as total gym and bayou are rival companies.
that's fine but it looks like the same size frame and hitch-pin mechanism. if it worked, hell, i'd buy your pull up bar. its wider than total gym's.
