What a great interview, Alex. Really great questions. It’s sad and unfortunate that Brother Beyond commercially was mostly a struggle outside of the SAW hits because I think they all made really great music together to be proud of. Like there’s hardly a song from theirs, single, album track, even B-side that I don’t like. For pop music, their music was very special to me, still is.

I’m from America and you just don’t come across many performers who have had any bit of success on that level with that kind of demeanour. He sang and performed Brother Beyond’s songs with such conviction and commitment as if he had written the lyrics himself.
This is a great interview. Nathan has always come across as very open and authentic, and was definitely born to perform.
