Our Souls go marching on.

Met John in the mid 80's at the height of his success. Was his golf caddy at Sunningdale golf club for a day, charity event. Very tall man, well over 6 feet, excellent golfer. It was summer, and John was saying he had just met Clapton and other stars a week or two before, while playing at a festival. He was so happy about meeting up with these people as they don't meet often except at festivals on the same bill (that was the impression I got). These musicians are a true band of brothers. Very polite man. He did not say a word about DS or himself, and I didn't ask, he was just so happy to have met his heros/friends again, just like a fan, and still so happy about it a week or two later. Said it like it was the best day of his life so far, all these musos together backstage, on a summers day in beautiful England. And he paid me 75 quid. Normal caddy fee was 50 quid. Probably for keeping my gob shut and just doing my job.

I met Guy at the BIA dolby session. He is indeed a lovely fella. He even had the good grace to answer some questions that I mailed him and he remembered me! The album sounded amazing too

What I would ask is whether the members of Dire Straits besides Mark were on salary or whether it was a profit-sharing arrangement; and, if the latter, among exactly whom and what the split was.

Well done on such an amazing interview. Even after all the Years of Guy’s success both before during Dire Straits & working with Mark Knopler in a solo artist capacity. He’s still carries himself, with a great down to earth & humble attitude 🙏

Tommy is a sincere, courageous and authentic man. Its a shame that more people dont actually listen to him rather than just listen to the main streams narrative. He loves Britain so much and the British people. What he does comes from the heart. But dont take my word for it go listen to him and checkout his website. Open your mind to the possibility that the media and government may be lying, not such a stretch is it??

Helen is not an activist against trans rights issues (as stated in the intro) she is an activist for women’s rights.

There is a massive disconnect, we are heading the same way as the US were they are totally divided into two camps. The same is happening here there is the left and the right with most now being branded far right. The two sides are poles apart but the left think they have the morel high ground and the language used to describe the right has become more and more divisive and the vitriol aimed at the right is hatful. Some if not most of the ideology on the left is perverse and dangerous as its effecting our children it has completely infected the collage system and is filtering from there into all stators of life, be it the police, schools, government and big business, with dire consequences. All the areas where the violence occurred were all labor strongholds and were all of the grooming gangs proliferated so there is a massive amount of anger in these areas as nothing has been done for decades and the grievances are exaggerated as the indigenous peoples and population have been continually sidelined for what is other cultures. A breading ground for resentment and anger methinks.

I wish that Helen Joyce would want to become a more active, frank, honest voice for atheism and the dogmatic nonsense of religion. It is, after all the granddaddy and most powerful source of dogma.

What a privilege to hear someone with such integrity.
