That's one fine ride ya got there! I'm in the US of A and cabovers in general have disappeared pretty much from the roads for close to 20 years now! Nobody makes them here anymore. Still see an occasional K100 or Ultraliner still out earning a living maybe once a year though.
Same. Used to see a lot of Inernationals and Freightliners fifteen years ago. Never any Mack's, though. Every now and then, a Freightliner Argosy will run through my town, and every time I see it, I smile knowing someone's still willing to do it.
good show....a VERY PRETTY C.O.E. BULLDOG FOR SURE! i always loved the UltraLiner's, they are one of my 3 favorite cabover designs, my dad drove an UltraLiner a long time ago. cheers from up here in the U.S.
The gold bulldog used to indicate that the rig was “Pedigreed”, or in other words, had an all Mack-built drive train. For example, Mack E9 V8 engine, 5 or 10 speed Mack triple countershaft transmission, and Mack double reduction rear axles. 👍 If the buyer wasn’t so inclined, and went with Cummins or Detroit power, and/or Fuller/Spicer driveline, the bulldog was silver. 👎 😄
yes, i also wondered, why do they like Dayton style rims down your way? im onl curious because in some areas of the U.S. that style of rim is illegal, so i ws wondering why it is considered advantageous to run Daytons...
I like those generation Mack cabovers. Wow I haven't seen one of those since the '80s.
