Thank you so much for taking us on your wonderful walks! I am probably not going to get to England again, so I value these explorations more than I can say, Robin and Ross. Thank you from Northern California!!
Dear Robin as a resident of nearby Milton under Wychwood I really appreciated your visit to our favourite place, the Wild Gardens. However I was surprised to see no shots of the canal and no visit to the church, the Green or the historic Crown pub. Worth a further visit perhaps?
Thank you for bringing these enlightening and engaging episodes to those of us outside of the United Kingdom. Please continue to produce these excellent videos. Well Done!
Thankyou for such a beautiful piece on Shipton-under-Wychwood. Shipton was my ancestors palatial home. My 2nd great grandfather was Sir John Read 9th Bart. Who migrated to Australia in the capacity of Governor of Darlinghurst Gaol Sydney. I hope to be able to visit Shipton-under-Wychwood in the not so distant future. Regards Jeannette Smart (nee Read)
Thanks again Robin, another enjoyable watch. You are taking me to so many ancestral villages 😊. I live close to the North Cotswolds, but I'm looking forward to visiting more of the villages to film and talk about.
I hear it's lovely but not any longer one house and residence. There are lots of houses around which might be more appropriate to visit. We'll look into it.
It's called Shipton Court, in Shipton under Wychwood. It's visible from the road that runs from Burford to Chipping Norton passing straight through Shipton.
So I understand. I think it's probably one of the least worst solutions to a modern world where this kind of house is vulnerable. At least several families get the opportunity to live in a beautiful house.
fantastic presenting talent and hypnotic voice thank you
Thank you very much!
Your welcome. Thanks for watching.
I’m the manager off shipton court, and it’s just as beautiful inside to what it is on the outside, plus the gardens are amazing,
I was subcontracted to cut the hedges there; it's otherworldly
Good to hear from you Gavin. I hear great reports of Shipton Court. Congratulaions.
@@VisqoOSRS They look great!!
I was fortunate to have lived in Shipton Court for two years. the entire property will stay in my memory.

A wonderful walk in the wood with your lovely dog to show us paradise. I'm glad to can see and hear your explanation.
Hello Sylvia. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.
Wonderful and thank you very much for including the reference to Only Fools and Horses (Trigger's Broom)!
I am so glad you reminded me from where the joke came. I have to admit it had just sat in my memory, but now credit where credit is due.
Another lovely place you found there. Thanks a lot for the video.
You are most welcome. Thanks for watching.
Brilliant.
Thanks Martin. It's a lovely place.
Idyllic! A real joy. I know most of the places that you visit, but this was new to me.

You are more than welcome. Thanks for watching.
Loving these! Great work gents. 🙌🏼
Would you be able to get inside Shipton Court to do a video? Now that would be a something!

Widget has had a hair cut. I Like your videos,.
The poor old soul doesn't like the heat. he will have another cut soon so he feels comfortable through the summer.
Thanks to Robin and Ross (and Widget) for a tour of this hidden Cotswold gem!
Your'e welcome and thanks for watching.
Please could you film a vlog on Filkins and Boughton Poggs near Lechlade .
We have mentioned the Mill in Filkins in the past. I am a particular fan of the 5 Alls. Thanks for watching.
Is this not where Jasper More - Larden Hall was (torn down) but what about the Blakeway Farm? Samuel More took the kids put them on Mayflower
FYI ... the Jacobean era is the first quarter of the 17th century
Indeed so. I hope I didn't make a mistake but the house was built in around 1603.
What is the name of this house and where exactly is it?
It's called Shipton Court, in Shipton under Wychwood. It's visible from the road that runs from Burford to Chipping Norton passing straight through Shipton.
Apparently the house has been made into private apartments.
I wonder if this is a good thing; nonetheless, perhaps it was the only way to save the original building, which is still beautiful from the outside.
So I understand. I think it's probably one of the least worst solutions to a modern world where this kind of house is vulnerable. At least several families get the opportunity to live in a beautiful house.
Not far from me
You lucky devil! Enjoy.
Thanks for watching.
