BY FAR the most important news story I've heard in many years if not in my life. These words should be met with a long overdue sense of URGENCY AND IMMEDIATE ACTION !!! I will personally vow to do my part by sharing this as far a I can.

Mam, I am so very sorry for all of it- this terrible event and countless others. I am thankful for your witness, that you had a moment to educate and to REMIND the world of this sickening history- that is still here, festering. I pray everyday for a change of hearts in this country, as well as reparations and respect.

They gave her a standing ovation. To bad more senators were not there to witness it. It's not every day a 107-yr old black woman of mental clarity has sight to read her testimony of events in that horrific Tulsa race riot.

They should have gave her reparations for her loses. It shows it meant nothing to them what she said. Did they corrected any of this country wrongs? They would say they weren't around back then. But her u have a woman that was.
