Congratulations, Rose Zhang, on your remarkable victory in your first professional golf tournament. The unflappable training you underwent at Stanford has undoubtedly proven instrumental in your success 🎉
a well deserved win on Rosy's 1st LPGA tournament at the beginning of her pro career. She had some very good shots from all ranges on the 20 holes of golf she played today even though her putting was a bit below what it had been during her first 3 rounds. Had she putted a bit better and Kupcho not made 5 birdies during round 4, she would have won it after 18. But her composure during the tense 2 extra holes playoff proved she's gonna be a winner of many more LPGA and LET tournaments. Couldn't have happened to a nicer woman. 💯💯🏆🏆
I’ve been saying this for a while and it’s been true for quite a bit…. But asians will take over every single technical sport in the world lmao. It’s incredible
What makes this all the more fascinating is that during this tournament, all of the top tier brand names at various points were flirting near the top of the leaderboard... then gradually one by one, Lydia, Brooke, Atthaya, Minjee, Jin Young... they all eventually would fade. And remarkably, it would be the new kid on the block, who just only officially met her caddie the week prior, that would resiliently be the last one standing.🏆
Mizuho really won big the minute Rose decided to make her debut here. And how fortunate are Callaway and Adidas to already have bought stock and invested in Rose.
This is what we called smart management. Like anything else in life, there are successful companies and there are failures. The difference is simple - management with foresight! Hindsight is 20/20 and but foresight makes the difference. Before, I have never heard of Mizuho, now it's so easy to remember!
Congratulations for her. She made her history as she first became Pro for LPGA. and she won. If I am right or someone knew they had someone in history already? Hope she continues working on her putting nexts. Glad she had good time with her Stanford friends there to celebrate with her weekend.
Incredible feat!! But she has a lot of experience under pressure so I think that helped her tremendously [two NCAA titles, etc.]. She looks so calm, cool, and collected. We may be seeing the emerging Tiger-like female player of the next Quarter-century!!
Quarter century?? Who in the ladies game has careers spanning that kind of length? I'd say it's more likely that she'll eventually marry and raise kids. So maybe 10-12 years as a professional athlete. And I'm not sure if you're insinuating that she'll have a reign of dominance during that span, but I just find it hard to believe that any player can attain that type of success with so much depth of talent in the game today.
@@sapphire7195 Interesting remarks but they could all be true. If I am her father, I'd like to see grandkids in less than 10 years! LPGA is fun to watch and no way inferior to men's game. Wish they have more TV times.
Ed Gonzales I know she'll make it in the LPGA when she beats my favorite college golfer Gabby Ruffels in 2020 U.S. Women's Amateur Final... Congrats...👏👏👏
@@AlastairBarker Oh give it a rest. I'm just giving my opinion. It wasn't just "any" win; it was in her very first pro tournament. She just finished her college golf career a couple of weeks ago for crissakes. She's the first player in 72 years to win on the LPGA Tour in her pro debut. I'd say that's pretty goddam monumental. Yes, she could fall flat on her face, but from what I've seen she has real nerves of steel. I'm rooting for her. Aren't you?
*I love how Rose lets that swing mature to a full transition, Rose keeps that left elbow up facing the caddie as long as possible coming down thus allowing her to sprint out of the box first at the perfect tempo. I bet Mr. Hogan would blush!*
Nice color hoodie.. it matches her name and a light nod to her alma mater.. Congratulations! My first time watching this golfer everyone is talking about 🏌🏻♀️
真的不容易。職業生涯第一場就奪冠。 希望她繼續努力 為其它年輕選手做榜樣!
20 yr old Atthaya
20 yr old Rose
Is this pairing foreboding of a budding rivalry in the yrs to come between these two highly talented superstars...??
Most certainly, two stars in the making, like Lydia and Minjee. Can't wait to see Rachel Heck start her pro career!
There you go! The first of many championships that this lady will win. Congratulations Rose!!! ❤

She's doing what Michelle Wie was supposed to but couldn't.
Maybe what you could’ve done but no balls.
She is a breath of fresh air for golf……….after the PGA Tour caved in to mighty Saudi $$$……..
东北的大姑娘! way to go Rose !
Rose's driver is almost as long as her height 😮
Question: is there a penalty on bunker shot for Zhang during her backswing (club touch the sand) on 1st playoff hole?
USA!
OK sponsors get in line and bring your checkbook $$$

That's my game! Just add a stroke or two a hole. 😂
Well done kiddo.!
She is so amusing.
2 WORDS YANI TSENG! REMEBER HER? CLAM THE HYPE DOWN.
It’s chill. Come eat food homie!

That girl who poured water all over her as soon as she won was uncalled for lol
That's a thing that happens on the LPGA. Most winners are showered with water or booze.
Glad that she won but she almost blew it!!!

Great job, Rose 🌹
Worst drop ever
