I am having a lazy day and decided to do artist enhanced and embroidery enhanced prints. I also tested my printer out for diy art prints.
One of the reasons for me why I feel so good in the flow state, is because I've escaped the illusion of time.
And thank God I'm out of my mind.
I love the flexibility you provide.
I'm a big fan of a 'drag ass day':) after I've had a few super busy days. And like you, I often a achieve a few small things on the lazy day, but they tend to be the more enjoyable things.
Save those big tasks for days when you're firing on all cylinders! :)
Thank you so much for this! This was just what I needed. I feel guilty only getting a little done here and a little done there. “I’d rather be whelmed than overwhelmed”…I love that! And “reinvent yourself daily”…YES! I feel very accomplished now! Thanks so much!! God bless!
Dragass days should be renamed Dragon days because maybe I just tidy my horde, find treasures to inspire tomorrow's adventures, and nap because I need to.....but I'm a badass Dragon today so that's fine. Lol.... I'll set fire to the world tomorrow.
This is so inspiring to me!!! I made an acronym with my daily priorities- WARSH (weave, art, run, shower, house chores). I'm going to try using this and see how it goes! Thanks for the idea
First of all, I want to highlight that you, too, are in my top list of my favorite TH-camrs/ artists. So, humble, genuine, and always sharing great insights for us artists. Regarding the topic you are discussing, i also would like to suggest going for walks helps to overcome being overwhelmed. Also, engaging in some type of exercise or doing something fun and please don't forget to eat something healthy too. I think as artists, we need to find ways of prioritizing our mental help because, as artists, we spend so much time creating and perhaps sometimes in isolation while trying to build a career as an artist.
I love everything about this video! Thank you. Scheduling has never worked for me... in fact 90% of my chores are done most successfully as drive-by as the opportunities arise. If I feel like i am "supposed to" be doing something else -from some schedule - then it never gets done!
In a crazy mad world I’m so happy to see a new chat from Rafi & Klee 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I miss your lives on TH-cam and hope to join rogues soon. I quit coffee so no excuse I freed up some funds😂 … so happy every time new video pops up, I adore you both❤ thank you for all the art, beautiful advice and artsy wisdom you share.
Such GREAT advice guys, I've been learning how to balance between my guitar gigs & finding time to do my newly found oil pastel landscape art, so your advice on just getting started & do a little bit at a time because at least you are still being productive, thanks so much, you guys ROCK!!! Keep On Creating, Rock On & God Bless.
Hello From The UK ,I have only just discovered your channel , & I have been playing catching up ever since .I really enjoy what you are doing !so keep up the great work , best wishes to you both, Mark ..MasPix.
It was so hilarious when you guys talked about the block schedule. Trying to be robots! Lol.
I seem to have my own productive "seasons" . I paint 3 seasons a year then go digital to design and work on Merchandise, digital art and I.T. stuff in between. These seasons seem to be loosely based around Fall and Spring with some random Muses in between. Now 40+. There is simply no fighting this natural cycle of creative muse. I need to bring music back into this cycle. Always creative, just rotating the type of projects to instinctively avoid burning out? My pace is my pace too. I have no final destination, just milestones on a journey to see what happens. PS, your art will always look like YOU made it. Accept this and get out of your own way.
I love what I paint I savor it I take my time when I'm ready I think about each stroke I need to do I think about it deeply and then. It's born and amazing mostly, I'm always pleased😊😊😊😊😊😊
Excellent video!

Did you say domestic arts? Household stuff? As in chores?
Even if you didn't mean that, it really makes me think i should rename my survival maintenance basics 'domestic arts' because after all living is an art x)
You two are the best. I don't watch a lot but i still consider y'all one of my fave youtubers
DJ day job? 😜
