When a shock absorber is installed do you install at its max length? medium length?

Hi, Jose. You install it at the ride height, which is halfway between top and bottom. Hope this helps!

Will this combination significantly reduce porpoising? (I've tried many different hitches with no acceptable results)

Hi, Larry. The Comfort Ride slipper springs and shock absorbers will not impact porpoising at all, unfortunately. We used to make a Comfort Ride Fifth Wheel Hitch that was great for stopping it but we discontinued that product line about two years ago. Sorry we can't help :(

This appears to no longer load balance between axles.

Correct; our system changes how the wheels function and moves them to independently move with greater support. This means the load balancer is no longer needed.
