Jungkook is the king of live vocals with intense choreography 🔥 I love how you can hear him live and center without loud backing vocals to cover. This song is difficult to sing but he kills it with his vocal agility and perfect pitch 🔥
How great and cool Jungkook is, with difficult songs, and difficult dance moves he can be great both so stable
This is from the Map of the Soul concert that should have been. This is what they were working on when Covid hit and cancelled it. So they gave it to us online, two nights. That's why he has two different outfits, it's a mix.
It was a recorded concert, but there were 2 days of it, the first day he wore the red clothes and the second he wore the black one. For this video, she mixed the break dance for day one and two.

Up until very recently, the mic colors were: Jungkook (Purple), V (Dark Green, but I think he switched to Red for the Yet to Come concert), RM (Blue), Jin (Pink - but it broke in practice for Yet to Come concert and he switched to Light Green spare and was really heartbroken about his pink mic), J-Hope (Red, but maybe he switched recently too - I have to check), Jimin (Gold/Yellow), Suga (not positive - I think Black and/or Silver). Obviously, Jungkook had a backing track in his own voice for while he was doing those insane...somewhat risque...dance moves. He's a perfectionist and has amazingly stable vocals while dancing. I'd love for you to react to his song "Begin" Live, but I've seen a few and you have to find the one that shows all the crazy footwork. Even J-Hope commented on that one that it was a very difficult choreography while singing. That one was a song written about his BTS brothers.

I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to me that “begin” live is SOoOoOoOoOo slept on….. it baffles me as to how a song as cute lyrically, more mid tone raspy for jk with the craziest choreo up to that time gets overlooked every time … it’s so frustrating lol

There was a lottery to be a part of the crowd they could see on the screens. Their staff had control of when they could hear us. :) This was the Map of the Soul ON:E online concert. They did two days.

It's from an online concert because of covid, after their tour from the MOTS 7 album was cancelled. There were 2 days of it. So in the dance break they mixed both performances from the 2 days. That's why the different outfits

After V's Singularity JK said that he would like to do some sexy song... and he did it. ON:E concert was 2x in 2 days. On the first day he was in black leather, second day he was in red. There was no crowd just endless people like camera men and tech stuff around because of covid and maybe at some moment backup dancers. Someone made this video of both days. For more money you could have 6 videos on the screen and you can switch between them and choose the angle you want to see them. 1 is very close and you can see close up and won't be able to see what is going on around... 5th and 6th are general views from far away cameras. That is why some could see V crying during "Inner child" while others couldn't. No. 2 and 3 are the best views. This guy choose 2 at the end and you didn't see back dancers laying on the floor in circle like a clock. So, you gain seeing singer close but you loose something what can have some meaning made in choreography.
That was a live crowd during the pandemic, and they streamed in. They gave ARMY's opportunity via a lottery draw to stream in. They did that a lot during the pandemic. This concert was their Map of the Soul ON:E concert. It was a record breaking concert.

They tend to have the head mics when they are performing live and have to dance a lot, but they also have their mics with them just in case something goes wrong with the head mics. JK used to say in the beginning how he would go through many head mics because he sweated and broke the mics.
McSteamy was a male lead in the Grey's Anatomy tv show. It Started with McDreamy, the name that Meredith called Derek, then when his Best Friend came into the picture, she called him McSteamy. I think it was her, there was a lot of friend back and forth, and it's been a while, so I can't remember allof it, but that's not related to BTS 🤣

So, this song is about how he felt growing up surrounded by cameras all the time and during the dance break they kept the cameras all around him if you've noticed. And about his outfits too, for both days of concert, sadly that's how he's perceived even him flashing his abs in this live performance is something he's always expected to do.
Now u have a different perspective to this song. Hehe
Yes they do use that type of microphone when they have intense choreography. Their handheld microphone colors change. Some stay mostly true to one color others mix it up.

From memory, this was like JK’s first real grown-up performance. He didn’t normally open up his shirt this way for a solo perf lol. I believe he was ready to do a more sexier performance (2020), as he mentioned during the Break the Silence doc commentary film when it got to the part when Jimin was performing Serendipity on tour lol. JK may lift his shirt as part of choreo for Fake Love, he didn’t want to open up his chest just yet in 2018 when RM accidentally ripped his shirt open on a comeback performance taping and JK didn’t want to be too sexual. I think he was still only 20 years old that time, and he had only graduated high school the year before (he had a gap year after middle school, that’s why he graduated high school later).

Yes it was an online live concert in 2020 and the cheers are recorded audience/ARMYs sounds. Also he performed two times. The online concert was held for two days consecutively. So that's why two different outfits.
Also, my time as a song is very special because not only jk participated in writing. This song is like a diary of his journey till present. How early on teenage he got into everything and had to make many other sacrifices with no time or privacy for himself (hence "can i someday, finna find my time") but presently (2020) and in future he's learning all that and beginning to be able to make time too, so his lyrics switch from "i can't" to "i can".

They always rotate from the microphones and the headset mics based on choreo… and considering jungkook was removing his jacket sliding on the floor and stuff that it makes sense that he went with the headset.

It's from a 2 day online concert during covid, thus the 2 different outfits and the "weird" crowd sound....I think they could hear the crowd at the beginning and end, but not during? You could livestream but I believe their staff could control the sound of the crowd in the livestream. Yeah, it was a little weird, but they did everything they could for/with us during covid, so who cares, right?

This was a live online concert. The same one that Jimin performed filter. They had two days with different outfits.
Jimins mic is usually silver or gold, but they do switch it up now and then. They also wear the headset for harder dance routines.

This and Jimin’s filter came out back to back so like whoever organized this set list showed no mercy.
Their mics colors change as often as their hair colors. Ok that is an exaggeration but they have changed over the years. The only one who has had the same mic color is Suga with Shiny Black. Tae has had Shiny Green & Shiny Red, Jimin has had Light Pink Rhinestones, Gold, Silver Rhinestones & Orange Rhinestones, Jin has had Sea Foam Green Rhinestones & Pink Rhinestones, JK has had Dark Blue Rhinestones then different shades of Purple some with and some without Rhinestones, Hobi has had White Rhinestones, Red Rhinestones, Lt Blue Rhinestones and now I think it is a Pale Green Rhinestones, RM has had Black Rhinestones & Indigo Rhinestones. 🤷🏼♀️ I think I am missing a few. LOL
